Thank you so much for this excellent video!!! I lost my mind and over an hour of time trying to get 1 window installed on a door. The gasket kept falling out, and then when it didn't fall out, the holes weren't lining up. After many attempts, I ended up drilling the hole on the door big enough so that I could see where the screws go into the window frame. Tomorrow, I'm using your method for the second window. Holy cow, I can't even put into words how frustrated I was😂. I know that a China man was laughing at me.

I will be honest. Suncast installation instructions, SUCK ! When I called customer support about not having instructions the girl said I can download and print them. The second slap was, their video was crap as well ! You should copyright your video and then sell it to Suncast. Thank you very much for all the help ! Great video in taking the time for instruction, quality and professional. Sincerely, Rob Dattilo

Guys thank you so very much, your attention to detail in explaining how to put this puppy 🐶 together is impressive; it’s almost like you built it first and then reassembled it to explain how to put it together; I’ve seen other videos and they just don’t explain it the way you did! Next time, tell your helper to say 👋 hello, we don’t bite! 😅

This video was really helpful. The small tips (like fitting the top screw for the door first) helped a long way. I and my wife were able to fit the shed in 2 days (with breaks). We pretty much ignored the manual except for a few location references. This is our first DIY project and it turned out to be very well. Thanks to this video!

Thanks for the video. I used it to assembly my 8x10. So much easier than using the directions. When putting in window gaskets I used small pieces of ducktape to hold the gasket in place. It helped speed up the process. Your idea on the sky lights gasket with the screws sticking out was a great idea. Thanks again.. Awesome video.

Thanks very much for the video, made it easier once I tackled this myself. Just shy of 7 hours from opening first box to completion (with one short break and a lunch break). Like you and others, had some difficulty with the window gaskets staying in place. I used very small pieces of electrical tape to hold them in place until I got a few screws started. But that was only after I struggled for about 30 minutes on the very first window (ugh...). Also had issues getting the very last roof panel in place. Again like others, had to loosen some truss rod screws and bolts so there was room to maneuver. Still had problems getting the last couple screws in place, used a clamp to pull things tight to the truss. Once everything was in place and retightened, the entire structure stiffened up and felt very secure. Very pleased with the purchase, for what it is and for the money I think it's one of the best resin sheds you can buy. We don't expect it to last 30 years, but if we can get the warranty period of 10 years and then perhaps a little bit, we feel we will have gotten our money's worth.

Great video, it helped a lot in speeding things up. A couple of things, on the trusses, the ridge bracket CC goes under the truss legs AA. Also, on the doors, I assembled them on a table where I could lay everything in place and then have the window edge over the table edge so I could put the screws in from below, that worked quite well.

I am so glad you made this video! :))) You are very good at explaining this process. I bought the 6x5 version of this shed and I got it all together except for the roof panels. I wasn't sure exactly how they went on and where those metal strips went. My instruction booklet wasn't very helpful in explaining it. I had a heck of a time getting the plexiglass screwed down over the gasket on the doors but I managed to get it with the help of a screw driver. Those little screen vents are pretty lame. They shorted me on screws so I put some silicone around the edges of the screens to hold it good and keep any bugs from crawling inside. I'm going to attempt to put my roof panels on today 😬Thanks again for posting! ☺

Mine is a year old, i caulked the inside and built it in the shade, if you're not building it on a cement foundation as i did, make sure your platform is level. it won't go together if its off, such as the door or roof not fitting right. mine has held up fine with no leaks or other issues. I read the reviews on it, and it doesn't hold up well in the direct sun in hot climates.

Since this thing is plastic, the torque the drill is set to is going to have to be set very low. I have a Dewalt that looks like yours that’s six years old. It’s never been used for anything other that drilling holes. I haven’t been able to find the owner’s manual to learn how to adjust the torque setting. I’ve thought about just going ahead and experimenting starting with the lowest setting. What would you say is the correct setting number for this job? I just Assembled my 8 x 10 shelf yesterday and I would not recommend fastening two by fours to the side wall. Any shelving installed should be freestanding with the load carried directly to the floor. You could put a couple brackets to hang light items like some rakes and shovels but probably would not put anything of substantial weight directly on the walls.

Does this have ventilation? I have a very large basement and I'd like a friend to be able to sleep down in my basement without having to heat the entire room, and also give them privacy at night. My thought was to build one of these in the corner of the room, place a Twin XL bed and a night stand and wardrobe into. They could mount extra shelving and a TV onto the wall with the available hooking system, and use a small space heater to keep it warm.

It only has the two vents on the top front and back that you will see. It’s not insulated, so some airflow and pressure will go through the cracks, but I do not think that is a safe idea.

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage No need for insulation, the house is insulated, it's just colder because the basement is underground. I'll probably contact the manufacturer and ask them about it, but you're probably right I doubt it would be an approved use.

I would definitely run some extra brackets inside for some added structure, and with these plastic floors the best thing to do would pour a cement pad and anchor it kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWam06mKkdnfnrw.html
