    A few questions, please - 1. How wide are the double doors edge-to-edge when both are swung fully open? I had my eyes on the same shed and would need to move the fence anyway. 2. Do you need any workspace in the back when putting up the back wall and the roof? If so, how much would you recommend? 3. You bolted the floor to the concrete slab at the end. I thought you'd always have to bolt the floor to the concrete slab before commencing erecting walls and things. In your opinion, which would make more sense? 4. I (will) have 110VAC at the site. Does the shed have any provision, such as anchor holes for conduits, for overhead work lights? I intend to use the space for my work bench and need power for my tools. Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Very well done video Stewart. I bought one to build & convert into a cat shelter (I have a mini cat rescue). I'm going to install shelving, have doggie doors installed and I contacted Suncast to find out they do have some windows I can purchase to install. In your video you said it took approximately 5-6 hours to assemble. Does that include the pre-assembly time as well? Also, it looks fairly simple to disassemble (what's your thoughts?). This is going up temporarily, until I move. Thanks!

    Working good for me, I cut twice a week. Does sometimes struggle if you let grass get too long or if your trying to scalp a yard. There is a boost setting though sometimes helps. But I cut often it doesn’t stress. I bought used and last year could cut my .5 acre yard 3 times before charging.. this year about 1 time as I think I need to replace batteries. They are probably still oem batteries so several years old. I knew buying it they may need replaced.

    Thank you for the video. I'm leaning towards Suncast versus Lifetime however I would prefer a 10x8 instead of 8x10. Based on my searches Suncast doesn't make a 10x8. What were the dimensions for the concrete slab? If the shed is 8x10 I'm guessing maybe 9x11 for the slab not counting the concrete ramp?

  • @StewartMotoring

    @StewartMotoring

    4 жыл бұрын

    9x11 would be good. I made my slab I bit smaller. Essentially when I did the measurements I gave 3 inches of space on each side. So + 6 inches on the width and length. I recommend going to the Menards website and looking at the demensions as the actual size isn’t exactly 8x10. I think it’s a couple inches bigger. www.menards.com/main/outdoors/sheds-accessories/sheds/suncast-reg-tremont-reg/bms8100/p-1444444189057-c-9658.htm

    You wife doesn't look happy. Strange, they say the couple that builds a shed together stays together :> Good shed and good looking couple. Any updates? I heard some of the rubbermaid ones had walls that bow out.

    Have not caught any rodents in there so far. Gaps are quite small and minimal around the base because of the way the plastic squeezes together.

    Not at all, but some kind of base, patio pavers at least would be better than on dirt. But hey, on dirt would still probably workout fine

    I wouldn’t suggest it. But I’m sure having it straight on dirt would work for a while.. but the floor may become uneven and unstable since dirt easily subject to water and downward pressure. Id recommend at least some pavers below it.
