If you like Datsun Z cars this is the channel for you. I am rebuilding a 1975 280z from the ground up with a 1JZ VVTI heart. This is the first car I have ever built so enjoy the learning experience with me and feel free to provide helpful feedback. It is the first car I've ever built but it won't be the last. I love cars and plan to do many restorations!
If you want to be a featured channel or work together to help each other grow. Comment on a video or send an email and we should be able to work something out.
Thanks!!

The partible models that set on floor (1 hose) work way better for heating. Put out hot not warm air. Keeping compressor out of the cold and just blowing the cold air out is even more efficient than an actual heat pump. Plus they use standard 115 volt outlet. Most of the air they blow out is recirculated so they don't produce negative vacuum like most people claim. They work great for A/C too!
Thank you for the video! We’re planning a purchasing one this week and was wondering about putting it together! Really helpful.
Nice video! Question: Does it grow mold / mildew / algae? Can it be pressure washed?
I would feel comfortable pressure washing it. It’s held up really well. Just have to do a really good job with prep. I haven’t noticed any mold
Thanks man this helped me today. It was the clutch position switch
This helped. Just bought mine today to off some storage to convert my actual 3 car garage into an office and small gym. How did you configure your power you ran to the shed? Did you cut a hole or ran it through the vents?
Yes I bought a some 1.5in plastic conduit and cut a hole in the back wall to run the extension cord. I caulked around the pipe. I’m not using much load so extension cord was fine in my case.
So awesome, I was looking for this in order to free some HPs form the engine!
this is nightmare
My 2015 does the same
Where did u get the bearing and seal from ? Link please
Are you still using this unit in your garage? Did you ever insulate the garage?
Nice work! Looks really good!
Do you have any tips on assembling the door handles? I'm like 95% completed with mine and am really struggling.
Or go get it dry ice blasted. $$$, works perfect.
2016 dodge van manual door with just the rear hatch being bad. This much work just to replace the latch is unreal. I can't get the latch to move at all from the outside, and door wont close all the way. What a pain.
Can you screw into the walls for shelves and hanging tools etc?
Thank you
Car looking great !!! Where did you buy the spacers ?
What happened to your group? I saw your other video and I thought it was fixed
That A/C is essentially a PTAC unit.
Is there an update on how is it holding up over the years?
Common dodge L
Are you ten? Because your music says you are ten...
You could’ve use the 12 gage wire yellow because your using 20 apms breaker
what wheel spacers did you get do the fronts do they have to be 66.1mm ? cause on my zx cause of the front spindle part are a bit wider on the hub they dont sit flush do you need a 73mm center bore wheel spacer ?
Lifesaver. Spent 20 minutes trying to take off that big nut
Love it!!! I would recommend using a piece of cardboard to remove excess paint before applying to stencil.
thank you man ive been trying to find this for a while now
I just purchased some adapters from car depot but there adapters are flanged unlike the ones you have which do not have any center flange

Thank you for great review looks great 👏🏽 love the color of your house as well. Do you mind me asking what color did you use for the exterior? Thank you!
How much was the concrete pad? How much psi rating did you go with?
With the ecu being from flagship 1 did you have any problems so far?
Nope no problems. Drive the car all the time just like I was before this issue.
Bro this video was amazing this is literally the issues and what I was thinking of doing
I would also apply the sound deadener to the inner door skins and the outer areas that the door cards are attached to!
There just isnt any good method to install these without damaging the bearings😮. I wish these were rollerbearings, that way you would have some way to install them without transferring the forces through the balls. And also it would give you the chance to "service" them like changing grease and tightening as needed.
What size bolts for the engine stand??
the finish looks so nice. well done
Cool race car.
All of these methods are dangerous. Heating causes fumes that are harmful to your lungs. Wire wheeling produces dust, which is also harmful. It's best to go to Home Depot, buy Citristrip, brush it on, cover it with plastic, and wait a minimum of 24 hours (ideally 48 hours). The paint will come off easily, similar to peeling an orange.
also it looks really good
did you apply a bonding agent after etching the concrete before applying the paint??
I dont remember doing that, but we followed the instructions on the can. I could just be forgetting.
It's garbage! Ive bought better paint from Wal-Mart!
Look at other reviews. Please don't waste ylur your money.
Nice video. If you don't mind me asking, how much was that concrete slab? Dimensions? Thanks
I paid 300$ for the concrete. I can’t remember how many yards it was and my pad was 1ft bigger in lxw than the shed
@@StewartMotoring Thank you, appreciate it. Looking at starting mine as well. Just trying to get an idea of the foundation. I like how you did yours.
Good job, but Why you leave no finished concrete on front garage under garage door? it not looks good when you open the door.
The epoxy isn’t allowed to see outside weather conditions and direct sunlight. So the epoxy stops at the door seal.
Have you had any issues with the wiring running 10 gauge?
No issues, still works good
@@StewartMotoring that’s great the instructions that came with the power plug, said to use 2 awg. I thought that was way over kill. did you run any type of of fuse or circuit breaker on the power supply wires?
My battery has a breaker type fuse which is maybe 150 amps, but my power wires runs from there to alt/starter/power steering. So no specific fuse for the ES motor.
@@StewartMotoring good to know I read on forms that they want to in-line 50 to 60 amp fuse or breaker in between it so if yours is working fine then I’m good with not putting one in. Thanks for the fast reply.
Do tou got to paint it every year
I haven’t painted it since I posted this video. Honestly still looks very good
Where is that horn kit. I can not find the horn kit anywhere!
Is that the same primer you used on the the frame ?
I’m going to be printing my z just have so much rust. I wanted to ask why didn’t you spray this primer on the roof I believe you used epoxy instead?
