Summitting Djebel Toubkal, Morocco 🇲🇦: FionnOnTheRoad Episode 19
Having completed the first half of the climb towards Djebel Toubkal’s mighty summit, we awoke the following morning at a dark and brisk 3:45am, with the goal of reaching the summit by 6:30. Through thick and thin, rock and snow a silly mountain doggo and an abysmal 4 hours of sleep I’m pleased to say that myself and my group accomplished our goal, and did so faster than any other group that morning!
Once at the top of this 4167m peak, we took our time basking in the warm sun that shone across the entire Imlil valley. Soaking up all the incredible views that Toubkal had to offer, before starting our descent all the way back to Imlil. Once again I want to extend my gratitude to my guide Hamid, my fellow hikers, and to my hostel host from Marrakech, who all helped to make this trek happen. Climbing Djebel Toubkal was really special, a highlight of my trip for sure, and quite possibly a highlight of my entire life (so far). My next video will take me back north to the town of Fes! So don’t worry folks there's plenty more Morocco content to come!

Congrats Finn on reaching the summet! I was hoping that you would have a look at the "Ifni Lake" and the other side of the valley where I spent 9 years of my life!

I made at a time everything was white and snowy.. in April .. on the other side there a lake . .

@@fotr you climbed at the left of the Moflon Hostel , lead to the summit Toubkal . But if you climb at the right ,you find the lake Ifli or Ifni..
Congratulations for making it to the top. What an amazing adventure, kinda made me seriously think about do it too.

hey fionn cool stuff, there is something u should know tho, some Moroccans will try to make you overpay, always bargain with the price there, it's kinda a cultural thing. Also if you can afford it you should join the Morocco food tour agency, they offer some cool trips

Hello! Yes I actually visited Tanger in an earlier video, and I’ll be going to Chefchaouen and Akchour shortly :) unfortunately I didn’t have time for the rest but that just means I’ll have to come back to Morocco again right?
