I'm 5'1" and not too sure about the blouse with the large navy and white pattern, the light blue and white stripy dress, and the bright blue and white dress with the oversize medallions. I'd be lost in them. I have always tried to stay with thinner stripes and smaller patterns. I guess its fun to step out of the comfort zone once in a while though. I sleep on a silk pillowcase as well. But my curl/wave pattern is so crazy, I have to do something to it or else it sticks to my head in a bunch of cowlicks.

Avara definitely has a look that screams Texas to me. My daughter lives in Dallas, and when I visited for Mother's Day, we had brunch at her golf club, and every second woman there was wearing an Avara dress! They are cute on you, but I live in Seattle Washington, and we don't dress like that here. But I'm living vicariously through you. Your hair is adorable.

I recently discovered an eyelid wrinkle hack; lip balm!! Avon has one of the best lip balms for this because it's softer than most. I use it on my eyelids at bedtime and during the day on days when I don't wear makeup.

Loved your dresses. However, I have narrow hips and wide shoulders. If I chose any of those I would need a football and a pair of cleats as accessories. No flounces or puffed sleeves for me! I will be looking for a pretty dress for my body shape very soon. You inspired me.

Striped one was too big, blue medallion one....those sleeves were just too much for my petite frame. I did find the striped dress in a medium on another website and it's on the way. Hope it works!

You are an inspiration and so very helpful and inspire me to look my best at 72 . Thanks so much for all you do! I live in a suburb north of Houston and also have wavy hair and humidity. My hair stylist recommended Redken Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame Heat Protectant Leave In-Cream before blow drying and it really helps. I purchase at Ulta and one tube last abut a year.

I've used Frizz Dismiss! It works but you do have to use heat on it. My goal is to use as little heat as possible.

You are adorable! I love your hair like that. I have the same kind of hair but not as much and I am also trying to use less heat. I loved everything but that last blue and white patterned dress with the bell sleeves. You are so petite, I felt like it swallowed your shoulders. However, you make anything look good! Hi Serena! Thank you for all your advice. I'm a retangle shape 5'5" 54 yr old with a D cup. I have a hard time finding dresses that don't make me look pregnant. Is there some dresses that you can recommend that are a little tighter under your chest, so you can tell I'm not pregnant, but will still hide my menpausal belly? TIA
