Sultan Suleiman Rescued Hurrem Sultan | Magnificent Century
"NOBODY CAN TOUCH MY SULTANA" Magnificent Century Episode 130: • Video
Hürrem blames Suleiman embittering the fight between Selim and Bayezid. As Bayezid chases up the ones who has set a trap for him, Selim gets worried that he'll get disclosed. Suleiman confiscates Mahidevran's wealth because she has supported the revolt. Hürrem brings Selim to account after she learns that he has set the trap for Bayezid. Meanwhile, Fatma plays Nurbanu and Huricihan off against each other and turns the harem upside down. Suleiman orders that Kara Ahmed will be executed since he has taken up the revolt. Someone witnesses Gazanfer's love for Nurbanu that causes to be shed blood. Hürrem takes a vow to not to choose between his sons and chooses her nominee for throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

For me this scene is something beyond amazing . Hurrem has transcended beyond a queen to something right out of mythical tales and legends . Ottoman subjects are in complete awe and disbelief to see her in person , as if she is someone who existed in fairytales and they can't believe she is a real person . The anger and rage to kill her but then being frozen simply by her presence is something unbelievable . How could a red haired peasent from Ruthenia (Poland) get so powerful and influential that their glorious magnificent sultan changed ottoman rules and laws for her . How could the all powerful Padishah and empire be controlled by just one mind from behind the scenes in the harem . How could a sultana who were supposed to only reproduce get some power? Is it witchcraft? Magic? Or simply sheer brilliance and extraordinary genius? Hurrem definitely left a legacy unlike any other .

For those who wonder why these people froze and started staring at her, there were two reasons: 1. According the rules Padisah’s wife was not allowed to show her face to strangers. So when they saw Hurrem, they stared in disbelief and were kind of shocked. 2. They didn’t expect her to walk among them fearlessly, they thought she would run or hide.

Regardless of all the treachery, betrayal, & loss that transpired between this ottoman couple. You can see Suleimans absolute devotion to Hurrem. Suleiman was a strong leader because he had more than just a concubine by his side. Legendary 👑

That's not at all who he is in this scene. It's ironic, because he's shown as a hero saving her life. But she's not happy to see him at all. For the first time in her life she sees him as the villain who will eventually kill her son.

Divine justice moved very swiftly in her case, leaving a morose old man a bereaved widower. Check it out in Wikipedia where all Valides are liste together with their son. It goes straight from Hausa tu Nurbanu. She is her children’s Valide only!
