you know what, the change in actresses worked in their favor. older hurrem looks softer, more elegant. her voice is gentler and less bold than her younger counterpart. she is an amazing actress at conveying her position of power but also a certain gentleness that came as hurrem grew up. works perfectly

Because she knows who will probably become the king although this last episode will be so touched if mariyam played it but well played by this lady also. But the mariyam act will actually be extremely needed here I guess management has to say sorry or at all cost bring her here

Even though she was ill she looked so Beautiful. Green just looked so Gorgeous on Sultana Hurrem but also on the other ladies when they wore green. Very Heartbreaking scene

This was a beautiful episode that she returned to Heavenly Father in such a beautiful way should that she got to see all her children and grandchildren together and that her wonderful husband cared for her enough to make that dream come true

Maybe because Hurrem was constantly nurtured with love from her loving husband beside her all along until the end but Kosem was all alone to face all the challenges by her own self after Ahmed left early and the immense power in her own hand alone for too long gradually led her astray from the true path. Still it’s kinda sad to see the differences in each of their endings. One died peacefully in the embrace of her beloved, with many of the loved ones alive but the other was murdered with all dead except the crazy one 🤧

I don't understand why Hurrem and Syleiman should have a grave, but Pargali Ibrahim Pasha no? He was also a human, so why no? They were evil, Mahidevran and Hatice were right. At least, have respect for the deads dude. And the fact that she made many atrocities, this doesn't means that she had a good death and Pargali and Mustafa had a bad death. What about Syleiman? He died badly, didn't he? He was suffering, because he chose the suffering. He did this to himself. All the misfortunes and deaths had happened because of him. But people can't see our own mistakes and we always see only the mistakes of the others (for example I was forbidden by my father when I was a kid to eat unhealthy food (fries, cheeses, meat, candies and sweats, especially what contains sugar and oils and salt. Then, after this moment, I chose to eat sweats and junk food everyday, until I ended up fat with grass, until last year that I told him openly, with a little bit nervously and daring, that either he will let me lose weight by myself, so I can lose weight without lacking of sweats or I will die from obesity and that he will be responsible for my death. And this time he heard me. But then, he continually blamed, the man who gave me my name, that he was feeding me with sweats and he does it until today since 25 years [I become 26 this May]. Why he is blaming this man? My father was the one who wanted this diet (without eating sweats once at least in the whole year) and end up like this that I used to be once. Is it a man who is immature towards his son or not? He doesn't want to consider his mistakes and manners, that he is immature, but he always thinks that he is right about everything and that everyone else make mistakes except himself. He always sees what mistakes make everyone else expect from himself. He left me no other choice and he still don't want to understand that he continues the same mistakes. He does the same with the matter of coronavirus and the illnesses).

In this case, Pargali was first a slave, then the grand vizier that turned out to be a traitor. He deserved to die? He's a human, humans makes mistakes all the time, but that doesn't mean that you are going to forgive and forget the mistake, right? Suleiman had a hard choice to make, it's true he could have forgiven him, like he did to Mahidevran, Hatice, Hurrem but never forget, but the mistake was too big involving the dynasty, I'm the Tamer of the Lion, that's how you refer to the hand that feeds you? We lives in easier times, we can choose with more freedom our path. None of them did have that choice. Everyone tried to survive the best way they could, no one in that show is innocent, everyone there has done something to others. Mahidevran with her poison and uncountable other instances, Hatice making Firial believe her child died, Pargali letting the power get to his head and forgetting all the instances he was warned by Suleiman(remember the statue?). Even Mustafa not having a shorter leash on his supporters. They all tried to survive. There's no good or bad deaths, just some questions: Did you do everything you wanted? Are you satisfied with how you lived?

Based on her symptoms, especially how aggressive they were, and how fast the illness progressed and she deteriorated, I'm guessing some sort of cancer. But no one really knows.

She got her maid to go to the room, where they wash the dead and prepare for the burial. She stole the ring while the Attendants are busy with Hurrem. I can't remember if the ring was to go to her daughter Mirrimah. Or Hurrem to be buried with said ring . Tuesday 7th May 2024.

It all depends upon where you were in this empire. This empire enslaved millions of people from across Africa and Central Europe. Millions of people were torn from their homes, tortuted and mutilated, beheaded for the slightest infraction. Remember the origins of Hurrem: her family was murdered, her village destroyed and she was dragged away in chains to be a slave. She rose above all that miserable pain, because she had no other choice. If the love she and Suleyman shared destroyed this cruel empire, I must say that is the greatest achievement! Not bad for a young teenage girl from Ruthenia, Kingdom of Poland. Thank you Hurrem!!!

@@OttomanNow The series did not present Hurrem in a very positive light, but the drama in the haram is why people watched the show, as well as seeing the fake jewels and the beautiful fabrics. I always liked Mahidevron's wardrobe better than Hurrem's. Hatice's wardrobe was best of all. Even the men wore gorgeous fabrics.
