Hi Mr. Wangwe, I got this heplful. Currently, we (my uncle plus all grandchildren) are on our late grandfather's land. My dad and other uncles (sons to my grandfather) have never done any succession. My grandfather had 7 sons, of whom, only 2 are alive. Where do we beginning the succession process? Am very confused

Hello Stephen. Thank you for your comment and question. I strongly recommend that your starting point, be a concensus by your entire family on what would be an ideal outcome. I would thereafter engage the services of a licensed succession law practitioner who can advise further on how to go about your family's specific circumstance.
I thought land owned jointly, when one owner dies the interests goes to the living brother
