I thought too weird at first... But after several listenings I must say I like it much: catchy, good voice, entertaining, funny... So all good ingredients!!!! So far for me there are 3 songs on top of the rest: 🇨🇵🇧🇻🇲🇨

@@gazster83 With Ben being busy with Subwoolfer, A1's break is likely to be extended. Both he and Christian Ingebrigtsen have solo projects, as well as write for, and co-write with, others. Both of them had songs in this years MGP. Ben co-wrote Titans, performed by Vilde - a song I thought deserved to be qualified. Christian's song was pre-qualified for the final, a song written to very high professional standards, obviously influenced from Elton John, but which sadly drowned among all the other ballads. Christian also wrote several songs coming second in MGP, one of them together with the late Eivind Rølles of the Monroes fame from the early 80s, until his song Attention - co-written with Kjetil Mørland - performed by Ulrikke Brandstorp won MGP in 2020. The year the competition were cancelled because of COVID fears. Even A1, as trio with Ben, Christian and Mark have been competing in MGP - and I believe even they came second, if memory isn't playing up it was in 2010, or 2011.

The voice you like is probably Gaute Ormåsen. We dont know for sure. Gaute Ormåsen is a Norwegian singer and was the Idol runner-up to Kurt Nilsen in 2003. The other guy might be Benjamin “Ben” Adams, a British singer and songwriter from Ascot, England, best known as a member of the British-Norwegian boy band A1.

I read somewhere...the story behind this song. They are aliens, and they had heard that the thing most people on earth was afraid of, was that the Wolf should eat their grandma....something like that 🤣✌

Like you i find it really wierd. I got the red riding hood right away. This is gaining alot of traction on tiktok just now so i reckon they have used it too their advantage. The more i hear the more i like. Its an earworm song.

@danalexandrov actually had a very similar reaction to yours with the connotation of the Little Red Riding Hood story. I love the song though. The refrain (if you can call it such) gives me Michael Jackson / Lady Gaga vibes and I'm actually trying to learn the moves...I think in a way "give that wolf a banana"...may refer to when there is an arising issue / problem like, grab the bull by it's horns or if life gives you lemons, make lemonade - sort of take hold of the problem/issue before it overwhelms you. That's my idea ofcourse. I don't know what they actually had in mind.

They remind me of another Norwegian duo Ilvys when they sang about fox. Subwoolfer seems like got idea from them with masks, and dance moves are similar. Although song is great 👍☺️

Sorry to spoil your fun. But a Norwegian newspaper have spotted cars registered to Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen parked outside the venue where Subwoolfer is shooting a video today. So now their participation have been confirmed even for those who didn't recognize their voices from their performance. It would have been fun if the speculstions had been going a little longer. But when the cat is out of the bag, the cat is out of the bag.
