I'm sure that Joost would have won with Europapa. Worldwide he is number 21 in the top 100 of the most streamed songs. Europapa is among world's greatest like Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Harry Styles. Europapa is more streamed than the winner Nemo with The Code. Joost's Swedish lawyer finally said today that he didn't do anything unlawfull and was disqualified for nothing. He is sure about it that Joost will not be prosecuted and will be freed of all charges. Conclusion: Just because The Netherlands complained about feeling unsafe and harrassed before the issue leading to the disqualification, Joost had to leave the competition. They didn't want him to compete. So they acted like North Korea and kicked him out for ontging.

Kaarija is actually good friends with Joost, he was supposed to hand out points as spokesperson for the Finnish team but he decided not to after all the drama. Good for Him! Lots of others also came forward, like Norway singer didn't give points, Serbia and Albania made complaints & asked about clarity about Joost (out of all countries they are the ones to support us? Guess love our balkan brothers) and Ireland, Portugal and the UK. Many countries had issues with this Eurovision. Our country submitted 2 complaints to EBU, 1 before Joost got banned because of ''unsafe work environment'' (NL got harassed by both journalists and the KAN media from Israel, EBU admitted they crossed the line) and because.. they couldn't protect him from what happened, he had to be banned.. yeah no. F-ck EBU

Kaarija had an fun interaction with Eden, but someone posted it which made people assume he was pro Israel. When Kaarija did request to take the post down, the poster did not want to do that. So that was also not so fun

@@CatsLilaSalem So sad.. Yeah Kaarija was just being ''him''.. just like Joost was allowed to ask the Israeli one ''why not'' nothing bad about it, just dutch directness/honesty, which I prefer WAY over the fakeness of it all.

He didnt compete in the finals, but somehow it still feels like he won. There is hardly a soul on earth that hasn't heared about Joost by now, his music is streamed massively. In 6 months a lot of people will hear about Nemo and think.. uh... who is that. While Joost has become worldfamous. Yea I'm sure he would have loved to compete in the finals, although I'm not sure if he would have won because the jury only gave him 58 points, I'm not sure the public vote would have carried him that far.

Whatever place he would have gotten in the finals, he was the true winner of Eurovision. With billions of fans in multiple countries standing behind him in the difficult situation and "UNITING against EBU". Europe was one of the center points of his song (and of course his own story behind it, I'm aware of all that) and *he* is the one that gets shot down? Eurovision, which started with 'Europe' shuts down a song ***praising*** travel through Europe? I can't be the only one thinking EBU this year changed things for the worst. #JusticeForJoost and his fellow harrassed artists.

It breaks my heart every time I see how the crowds go wild, reactors react like you do, and yet, he didn't win. I'm also still very pissed off he was disqualified, for what it seems to be a very minor incident, that could easily be fixed, he and the Dutch broadcasting tried to set up a meeting so he could say sorry, which I don't even think was necessary, but the ebu kept saying no. And then disqualified him. His dream to perform in the finals of Eurovision was blown apart. He promised his late parents he would do it. And I also think he would've won. But ebu and the sponsor didn't want it. It was pure politics what happend there. In the hearts of many all over Europe and the world he is the winner. Sorry Nemo, but to us Joost is the winner.

Waarom is er zo weinig transparantie geweest bij de EBU ? En waarom was er geen checklist waar artiesten aan moesten voldoen? Als hij werkelijk een strafbaar feit heeft gepleegd dan had dit toch ook direct behandeld kunnen worden ? Nu is Klein overgeleverd geweest aan de grillen van de organisatie. Walgelijk. This is definitely a fun song.😊 But is this the “best” song? 😂 See, those who complains about Nemo winning for “showmanship”, ignores that if Joost won, it would be even MORE about showmanship. He's an entertainer and is really smart about everything he does. It's not the best song but it is the most entertaining one and the public loved it. EBU just disqualified him to focus everyone's attention on him instead of the israel participancy and other problems with the EBU itself but that didn't really work out as planned haha

​@@smellyrust100% agree. This tactic has a name: DARVO. Joost has been victim of DARVO. The EBU organisation received so many complaints from the other countries and contestant, that they sacrificed Joost and made the victim the agressor. They accused him, while he hasnt do anything wrong. He wasn't violent and he didn't threat anybody.
