@@OriginalPuro hm, how about it being a fun, carefree, different kind of song? All our entries were shit last year, so we wouldn’t have won no matter who we sent. So why not spice it up and send something actually fun? That’s my opinion at least ;)

I don't like simple songs. I don't like club music ...or pop charters. ...or whatever. But this song. This song....it's got me hooked and addicted and asking for more. Just like *what does a fox say* ... :P

Could be a perfect day for Bananafish....unfortunately this is not going to be the winner of the Eurovision 2022 song contest. What strikes me the most is that lots of countries put a lot of effort into the staging and less into the singing part. So the question is would this song survive withou the staging act? They wouldn’t be allowed to compete if the singing wasn’t live. Those are the rules, always have been. Ireland sent an actual puppet in 2008 (got knocked out in the semifinals though). Also, seeing someone’s mouth move doesn’t mean they actually sing… Anyway, if they were breaking the rules in any way, they wouldn’t have been allowed to compete. It might not be what you want, but it doesn’t break any rules, and Eurovision has been about the performance AND the song since at least the 1970:s when technology allowed for a bit more movement…
