Christopher Lloyd actually said humorously that "he actually was frozen that day he said that line" Then Doug asked him to say the line and he awkwardly agreed to do it.

Apparently the first idea for Mark Calaway in WWF was to reprise the bounty hunter character to feud with Hulk Hogan in the same way that they got the Zeus character after No Holds Barred in 1989

the joke where Ramsey stops the purse snatcher while jogging . . . and says "excuse me a have to pee." I think my back hurts from laughing so hard.

To be fair, I think Hulk Hogan was fairly entertaining in the movies he did, but I felt that was a kid. As for transition from wrestling to acting/movies; I think Dwayne Johnson has made that transition marvelously.

OMG! I just realised that was was The Undertaker calling Hulk Hogan a Dead man!

Easily one of my favorite reviews by the Nostalgia critic.

So Hulk Hogan blew up the president for nothing?

I find it funny the Critic brings up how absurd it is for them to play After Burner as some random space game, seriously, they couldn't get Sega to palette swap 1 unit for the movie, but ignores the fact that many small children are in the middle of the night at this still open arcade as opposed to home for sleep.

My best friend actually used that "I was frozen today" line when he got into an argument with his mom, and--I kid you not--her reaction played out exactly the same way the Critic dramatized it.

Should film critics write movies? This is the question that has plagued mankind for centuries. On the one hand, it seems ideal. I mean, they already sort of know what makes a good movie, I mean they're film critics. They know what pleases the masses, they know what makes a movie look good... it's practically in their blood. On the other hand, To Boldly Flee. (I love ya Doug, but that low hanging fruit was RIGHT THERE! xxx)

+Andy Semple Not exactly, they can take the finished product of a movie and judge it, but you need a lot of knowledge on direction, organization, and resources to MAKE a movie. They know how to enjoy a good movie, but not how to write one. Just because they can look at original ideas doesn't mean they can create them.

I never watched it, but the commercial is forever seared into my brain. It was the first time I had ever seen an incredibly bad commercial work so incredibly well.

Just before this I watched the Tank Girl review, which had "I was frozen today!" joke used in a fitting context. Then I watched this and came upon the exact review where the joke originated. Lucky coincidence.

This actually looks like the ultimate guilty pleasure movie. I would totally watch this.

Fun fact: I never saw this movie but in middle/high school I watched a lot of NC and this one kid randomly shouted "Suburban Commando" during a game or something and I asked him about it. Turns out he once went to a laser tag place where you wear fake armor with codename tags and he got one that read "suburban commando". I was like "...wasn't that a movie Doug reviewed?" He had no idea what I was talking about

I just re-watched this. It's still better than anything I've seen come out of Hollywood recently.

Yep. That's Undertaker. In fact, this movie actually led to him getting hired by WWE/F in the first place, as Hogan recommended he be hired.

I don't know. I get the feeling that this movie is a serious guilty pleasure for Doug. He was just making fun of it not really finding a lot of big issues with it. It's a serious guilty pleasure for me

When I was watching a short from Gabby Duran & The Unsittables, It showed Gabby holding a bag of oatmeal and the scene was frozen for 1 second. Then, when it happened, I was singing, "I was frozen today!" It was hilarious.
