    Whilst I also like the respect he gives, I mean Izzy is literally reviewing the PPV Khamzat headlines, I don't think he can dismiss him given the notoriety of Borz in this card. What are you talking about?

  • @blahblah701

    @blahblah701

    Жыл бұрын

    @@langtryvlogme Not this card, specifically. I meant the way he respects Chimaev's overall skillset. If you look back at his interviews with Ariel and True Gordie, they asked him about everyone talking about Chimaev being the guy to beat him (pre-Burns), and he gave a really respectful answer along the lines of, "I don't have to worry about him until I have to worry about him. But he's doing all the right things." I just feel like it's easy for a Champ, esp of Izzy's caliber, to say, "These new guys are not on my level." Kind of like what Jon Jones did to Izzy, or what Usman did to Chimaev. But I like the approach he took

    Adesanya loves and enjoys good fights he's a fan himself and also Khamzat respects him he just acts like that because he's trying to sell his fights and promoting himself just like Conor did it's his job don't take everything seriously what u see on Camera it's just an act.

    I’ve been saying since they announced it that Nate has a chance. I can easily see Khamzat gassing specifically because he will think he’s close to a finish in each of the first few rounds and just gas, maybe try to take him down and get caught in a sub. That would be beyond incredible

    Thats not going to happen. I really love nate but man his skills are seriously lacking. Which feels like such a shame considering how genetically gifted he is with his gas tank and endurance. Khamzat outmatches him in almost every single thing especially on the ground and i just cant see how he'd be able to win.

  • @frasert8779

    @frasert8779

    @@MarvoloSalazar Yeah I mean I’m not claiming it’s even likely to happen, just that the possibility is there more than most seem to think. That’s Nate’s MO in his last few fights/wins, he can get beat up badly and then turn it up at the right moment. Realistically though, I’m sure Khamzat learned from that Burns fight and won’t make a similar mistake. But all Nate needs is for him to take him too lightly. But again, I’m not saying it’s more likely that he wins than loses, if they fought a hundred times he would lose the vast majority.

    When Isreal was working up through the ranks, I couldn't (& still cant) understand all of the "this is the guy to beat him" talk. He is a very special fighter &, because of this, it wouldnt matter if he lost any of those fights ... it's obvious that he is the better fighter, no matter the outcome. He is just one of those fighters who's place among his peers isn't hinged upon the outcome of his fights or his record. His skills/abilities/whatever you wanna call it speak for themselves (& quite loudly !) & make it absolutely apparent that he can beat any of these guys! The negativity & insults that fly around about him make me fukn angry! It gives him so much more to worry about & could possibly have a nasty effect. Just hope he says -" fuck them, I don't need to please anybody" & stays clear headed. He has a lot of ass to whoop & that kind of shit can be a hinderance!

    You Nate fans are breaking my heart here, but if you really believe in your boy you should bet money him. I respect the man deeply for what he has done for the sport but... The truth? You wont bet for him logically, honestly. Nate is part of the age group that wins less than ten% of their fights. He has built scare tissue above his eyes and bleeds easily so he can be blinded too easily or even lose by doctors stoppage (check the record). His jiu jitsu is amazing but we just saw Khamzat stuff a fucking guy with the exact same belt credentials by using his wrestling. To add, odds makers aren't stupid...odds in the -900 and above category pretty much play out to be correct 93-97% of the time. All of you who like Diaz, I get it, but you are betting on the unknown and making these points and doing so assuming diaz fights perfectly outside of getting better as the fight goes along to utilize this exploit you all think he has. When it comes to analytics, assuming makes you the biggest idiot. Even if he gets better It's no full proof strategy as Diaz takes a shitload of L's in his career from this careless approach. What good is cardio if you get fucked up too often too early to really utilize it? Answer - None. So... Yea anything could happen but thats every fight ever and you should never bet on this being the case...

    I'd say this speculation is on point. I think Khamzat is going to go berserk for the first couple rounds and try to finish it quick. If you check out his recent training clips, he's been running heavy bag drills for increasing stamina (punching non stop for x amount of time.) He's probably confident enough to think he can to, seeing that Nate is a bit older now and well past his prime. I can guarantee you him and his team don't want to be in there for the later rounds with a guy like Nate. Khamzat has never done a 5 round fight either (professionally.)
