    Why would you buy one of these trucks in the first place? Its just how Rob does things. He sold a couple cool cars to buy a cooler one. I'm expecting a stupider truck like a lifted F350 with 52 inch tires, and a Koenigsegg.

    this truck is easly towable. this truck really isnt all that big compared to commercial trucks. its just a medium duty truck. they have tow trucks that tow heavy duty tractor trailers and what not. dont see why they couldnt tow this little thing.

  • @tylerboyer7824

    @tylerboyer7824

    well if it was in a city environment the heavy haulers are not going to be easily moved around. in theory it would be able to tow this truck but it wouldn't be possible in a parking situation due to the size of the wrecker compared to that of the street and other cars that would be on the road. the heavy haul wreckers are more ment for the highways. from what i have seen.

    Interesting series. But in all fairness, you don't NEED all this equipment to transport it. A hot shotter with a class 3 dually and a gooseneck deck-over equipment trailer could've loaded this in five minutes and been under way to anywhere. These guys were just ill-prepared. And it would be a great truck with the proper body on it for it's intended application. But yeah, as a pickup they're completely asinine.

    An F650 is technically considered commercial-grade. Since the truck was that big, it needed to be hauled on a step-deck trailer. Why that step-deck didn't have ramps is beyond me. However, the only other way to transport it, would be to hire a heavy duty tow, drop the driveshaft, and tow it that way. But at a typical $125/hr for that, the step-deck was the cheaper option. :D

    Benjamin Esposti I have a 1994 Ford Ranger extended cab 4.0 5spd with 335,000 miles on the original engine and clutch! It is only a bit tougher than a S10! Don't believe me? I have photos! I bought it totaled when I owned a salvage yard to use as a delivery truck. I fixed it. When I retired I kept it planing on putting a 5.0 and a auto trans when the truck had a major failure. Well, 11 years later it still has not failed. The paint is failing but no rust EVER. A buddy wants it so I'm going pass it on to him when he is ready. The 2 ton truck is an ego truck unless you are long hauling with either a 5th wheel or using a pintle hitch. This guy thought it would make him more of a man. Instead it told us what kind of man he is!

    Not sure how I found your channel, but interesting video and that sucks you got ripped off by a shady dealer. If you really want to see complex vehicle loading, try moving a herd M1 Abrams onto trains at a railhead. Even more complex is when one tank is disabled and has to be towed by another tank. Abrams do not fit on a train car without about a little less than half the tread sticking out over either side. They also weigh enough that they cannot only flip themselves off, but also flip the car. Pretty cool solution they had to loading your truck, but looked like they were not used to driving large vehicles onto longer vehicles. Props to them for still pulling it off and the driver directing his ground guide.

    I have a friend that drives OTR flatbed and he is always dealing with people who send him after loads to pickup that they think it will magically fly on and off the trailer. Farmers who buy heavy equipment and have it brought out to a farm only to have no clue how it will get off the trailer and construction companies are bad for it too. Then they get all twisted when the trucking company starts billing them $100 an hour to sot their with the load on tying up their truck.
