Yes, Austin turned on his vocal power & emotion for this one. My favorite Austin song is Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. A must-hear! Sebi accompanies Austin. (Sebi is a fantastic accompanist, which is a skill in and of itself.) Then there's My Maria with Austin, Tim (!), Sebi, Chris Chatham, and Chris Marion (Tim's BIL) that'll knock your socks off!

I read somewhere that the sound you hear in the background comes from the air pump in Austin's aquarium. Not a sound you hear very often in a song, but it fits very well as a background in this song. 🐟🐠

This absolutely my favorite cover of this song! I love it when Austin sings in his “clean” (without the the Country inflections) voice. That’s not to say I hate the others, I think this is just really special. Sebi (keyboards) is a friend of Austin’s and accompanies him a lot. Austin also records sometimes at Sebi’s house. You need to make the Austin Solo Poll as a regular thing. Although he will continue touring with HF through the Fall, he will be bringing his own new music out regularly very soon.

This was done in front of his house, by the 'pond' (to me it's a lake however .. . ). I think anyone who's lost a loved one, feels this song in their bones. I think Austin did a very nice version of this song. I really like Eric Clapton's unplugged version of this song with a little bit faster pace. And it is a more personal song for him with the history behind it after losing a child.

No words can describe this. He sort of cradles the song with his voice. Seby is a long-time friend of Austin and does the production on some of his solos - like this one and I'll Go First.
