This is a great build thank you for sharing and I’m all about what they are doing about mental health I’m a retired widow of 24 yrs and I’m so ready to sell the house I live in and go tiny and just travel and see things that during my life I was to busy keeping house raising kids and working a full time job for 47 + years that I want to see with my own eyes. Life is short and everyone deserves to be and find their own happiness god bless you in your travels

You should be so proud of yourselves. First being able to work together is epic, the design is terrific, absolutely love this undertaking 😊- the inspiration you have demonstrated to others especially females “we can do this” I think will help those who have been scared to take on a project like this, you certainly have inspired me. “Thank you” so much for sharing apart of you lives and your beautiful bus.

Ha ha @ 4:59. Beautiful job ladies! Absolutely love the teak and and copper and the rug/runner just pulls all the colors together! And OMG the deck! You need to go into designer work. Love it all!

That rug is beautiful, I kept looking at it.

I watch a ton of van conversions and this is the best combination of color, wood and copper I've seen. It's very appealing to the eye. An excellent job. Happy trails.

Agree. Love the wood and how it was used. Also how they used it to create separate areas of the bus.

Very nice. I would definitely make the toilet area into a wet bath with a shower. Also more water storage.

I adore this shuttle bus conversion. It's so pretty. However, INDOOR SHOWER! My goodness there's enough space for it for sure. Winter happens. I love it, anyway.

@@C.Church Well in a bus that size if it was made better you could easily have like 200 gallons worth of water, and have a combo shower/tub.

@@angerskarin9222 Yeah! I was looking up tubs and saw some really nice modern acrylic ones that don't weigh that much. Saw them in person at Lowe's and they're super light. So my thinking us the tub is where to keep the laundry baskets when tub is not in use. And even then the small washer and laundry spinner (3000 rpm meaning practically dry!) can be put in there to run and drain like people do inside their homes with those portable washers. I cant imagine it will he too pesky removing these light items to take a sit down shower. (Which sounds delightful. I already have a shower stall in my house and dont like the cramped nature of it). I'm rambling. Super excited. Lol I'm getting real excited. :)

By the way if anyone is interested the 3000rpm spinner is by Laundry Alternative. I already have their Nina Soft 1800(?) rpm model and love it. So I'll sell this one and get the 3000 one. I hate Amazon so I will try to buy directly from them this time.

It’s permanent, either they are towing it or it’s welded to the bus

This is just Beautiful! I especially like that the knives are in sheathes and not just hanging on that magnet.

Probably one of the most beautiful and homey set ups I've ever seen. I'd definitely have to have water access and a shower on board, but there seems to be plenty of space if they one day want them and it's perfect for them. Just stunning!

Love the stove drawer and toe kick storage. Great dirty laundry idea too.

I'm so glad to see the extended bus conversion. Most are all the short bus but i really want the long shuttle bus.

Love the color scheme and the layout - seems so airy and so much room. The amount of storage is amazing and the dogs are obviously loving this - the last point for me is the main one! ;) Very, very nice build - congrats!

So funny, I haven’t watched my tv in years. I turned it on a couple years ago to listen to music and it still works lol. This is a gorgeous bus. Beautiful and useful. I hope you make many happy memories.

I never hear much about city bus conversions either. The idea of tiny houses is pretty new, but I wonder how many vehicles like this went to become church vans, boy/girl scout vans. Or just to scrap yards.

This is awesome! Never seen a stove like that and the toe kick storage is genius!

This is a beautiful bus with TONS of space, but with all that space I can't believe they didn't install a shower

12:46 The storage ottoman / desk idea is a great use of space. TV is perfect. Beautiful overall design. For me personally to be comfortable I would need an indoor shower and a more permanent bed area.

Beautiful design. You both did a fantastic job on construction and design...you can't do one without the other, so yes it is teamwork. Truly an amazing home. Truly amazing charity. Safety for mental health is the number one very important pillar of recovery. I know this because I am disabled by mental health issues connected to trauma. I have spent 18 years in therapy. Maybe 12 of that on medications and learning as much as I could about stratagies towards healing and tools to build healing. I wish you the best for your work with your charity. You both are and will continue to be blessings to all who engage with you for help healing. Your home on wheels DOES HAVE A VERY HEALING ATMOSPHERE. GO TEAM!

Very beautiful tiny home/bus. The deck built onto the back of the bus is lovely... a very comfortable environment to live in and travel.

This is niiiice!!! Great job!!!

The outdoor shower is an interesting touch! At first I thought the sink head would extend indoors. Unique that they have about three separate living areas, counting the patio and given that the bedroom is mainly a sitting room too.

How about showering on the stairwell. Or in the winter use a large bin on the floor in front of the sink if the hose will stretch use it. Or fill plastic gal bottle, get wet , soap down and shampoo down then rince. I did it like this with 1 gal. of water all the time when I was a lady truck driver and couldn't get to a shower. It works like a charm Love what you girls have done with your home and your life.Happy trails girls!

Beautiful conversion!! However would love to hear more about the building process. The sleeping area not quite defined and the lack of indoor shower are aspects that can be improved. The deck it's impressive. I wonder if is folding up while traveling.

Gorgeous...we're looking to do something similar in our 70's. So many beautiful features, ideas & lovely artistic qualities. We taught, worked in healthcare, Music & have done yrs of street chaplaincy...so on board w/the mental healthcare needs (which have been huge thru Covid). Very inspiring as I search for our own Van & get ideas.

I hate you both, but in an envious way! :) what a great talent you both have! Would be so fun to know you both as friends. All the best to you in your journey.

Y A stunning converstion. I love the dogs, blue/tan color scheme, copper throughout. Your non-profit to de-stigmatize mental illness, how does it work? It there a website? This effort to dispel the stigma has been one of my lifetime roles- and I'm still at it.

I would too, which is why I can't imagine buying a pre-built tiny house. No room for someone else's priorities! This bus has plenty of space for a shower attached to the bathroom, just eliminate the "cubbies" and encroach into the back bedroom area a little bit. The giant electric fireplace in the bedroom also takes up a lot of space that could be storage. It's a great looking build though, I love copper.

Wish I'd seen you in Wellfleet (not Beach) MA! I definitely would have been one of the people taking pictures, that deck is so cool! The fact that it's just bolted on makes me nervous, so I'm glad you included the part where you checked with engineers and they're big airplane bolts. I still would probably have put a support on the back that you could lower when stationary just for my own peace of mind. Inside is gorgeous too, love the leather/copper/blue combo, so pretty! And great use of space!

by far one of prettiest shuttle bus conversions I have seen to date! The decor looks like a lot of thought went into it as well as the layout, for me the only thing it is missing is a shower, not a fan of outdoor showers. Would have loved to hear where they have been in it and things they have done.
