Stuffed Peppers Recipe: Beef Stuffed Poblano Bake
Beef Stuffed Poblano Bake is a unique way to add heat to traditional stuffed peppers. Poblanos are a slightly spicier option than typical green bell peppers, but they're a tasty alternative. How spicy? Just right! A jalapeno pepper is five times hotter than a poblano.

When do you plant the poblano pepper. I just got introduced to this pepper and want some for my garden
Thank you for the great recipe. I will try!
Just found your channel tonight. Ive never had stuffed peppers of any kind, Ive been looking at different recipes, and I love the ingredients in this one! I knew I wanted to use pablanos, cant wait to make this later in the week!
Can't wait to try some of the recipes.
I love poblanos peppers. The recipe looks very tasty 😋 I can’t wait to try it 😍
Wonderful recipe!
Amazing recipe. My mom used to make stuffed green bell peppers all the time when I was a kid, which was her favorite, but I've never liked the bitter taste of green bells. Orange, red, and yellow are fine. I cooked a variation of this recipe for her using poblanos about 3 years ago. I added ground pork, chorizo, chopped green onion tops, and a touch of cumin, but overall it was the same recipe. She absolutely loved it. I make the same thing for myself quite often. Many times, if I can't find poblanos, I'll use the big jalapeño peppers, which are just as tasty, but a bit warmer. I usually add a bit of cream cheese, pepper-jack and smoked paprika to the mix on those. Damn, now I'm hungry. =)

I definitely agree with preferring the sweet crunchy yellow and orange peppers... red peopers if nothing else though. but absolutely NOT bothering with green bell peppers... I will try the poblano bec they are not devilishly hot...
Perfect for cold rainy Saturday to watch LSU!!
Thank you for the recipe

Looks good
Really nice demonstration of the basics. What's so fun about making these is there are infinite ways to do it. I usually grow at least two poblano plants in my Garden each year. My favorite way to stuff them is with my homemade elk Italian sausage breadcrumbs and gorgonzola cheese. But I'm definitely going to try the rice now instead of the bread crumbs. If you're trying to introduce your children to a little bit spicier food I would just lean on the pablano and leave the chipotle pepper out. By the way Chipotle pepper is just a jalapeno pepper that was allowed to stay on the vine long enough to turn red and then smoke roasted.
Bro your helper is on point!!!
I had everything prepped and ready to be cooked for this dish with the exception of the rice. Instead, I riced some cauliflower and my wife finished up the dish! My wife doesn't like peppers so instead, she roasted up a potato and topped it with the meat and cheese! It all came out amazingly delicious! Thanks for the awesome recipe!
Turned out great! Making it again!

I love these videos. And Chef Michael is my favorite. But from all the cooking videos I've watched on YT, I've discovered that a second bite really finishes a video. And not just a second bite, but visible eagerness to have a second bite. Taking one bite and saying, "oh, that's good," is telling. I need you to SHOW ME how good your recipe is.

Hello friend!.. First of all, u are an amazing Chef who knows how to cook what I really would want to eat for the rest of my life to stay healthy!...Secondly,,,I just looove spice on any food that I want to eat!..Lastly,,,I love the way you cook it by just BAKING IT instead of DEEP FRYING IT, which is, so unhealthy for everyone. I really love Beef Stuffed Poblano Peppers!.. Thank u so much for being a good blessing to me and to everyone else out there who have been longing for a DELICIOUS and HEALTHY food to eat for the rest of their lives.

Beautiful tester
First off, Chef, Thank You for such an amazing yet simple dish, and extremely helpful video for anyone to follow and create at home. Secondly, I would like for any other chefs/hosts/KZread "How To" video makers to take notes on this video. In particular take notice as to how very informative & step by step informative this video is. A lot of times I watch a cooking video where the host leaves off key details like cook time/temperature, or even specifics on ingredients or proper introduction of the ingredients. This video has it all covered and is a perfect example of a "How To" video. Cheers!

We are overly blessed with the Poblano Pepper. I have no idea how that happened, the tags on the plants said Jalapeño none the less we're blessed and have never had them. Tomorrow I'll harvest a few and this is what's for dinner tomorrow. Thank you for such an entertaining way to prepare my huge mystery peppers. P.S. We have never eaten Poblano Peppers so this will be a treat.

@@CertifiedAngusBeefTestKitchen - We enjoyed it very much. I think if I were to do it again, I might pre-roast the peppers a little by themselves say for 15 minutes or so, then throw in the beef / crumble for another 15 minutes, then add the cheese in the last few minutes. The Beyond Meat was as good as beef - so it makes for an EZ meat alt food. Normally I would have used Vegan cheeze, but my girlfriend and her daughter aren't crazy about it so I used real cheese.
Thank you for showing that the poblano does NOT have to be peeled to be enjoyed!

Followed most of your recipe except that I put extra Chipotle peppers, used a homemade Chile Guajillos salsa, and used Mexican rice. Great combo of ingredients!!!
wow
you did the right thing going with more cheese to finish these off. when i saw the foil come out before they went into the oven the first time...
I don’t know how this came in my recommendation but I’m on my way to the store now.

Nice appetizer easy cheese and spinach. You could also Blanche the peppers quick 2-3 minutes in boiling water
Hi what oven temperature you roasted poblano peppers for 35-40 mins ? 325 F ? Or higher ?
Oh it turned out so good. Except I totally forgot to get the chipotle peppers and the salsa. I was glad I had some Ro-Tel so it turned out pretty good.

Hey there chef! I'm super curious, what does your audio set up look like? Do you use a lav mic, or do you have a different kind of mic, such as a condenser mic, channeled directly into the camera or your computer? I'm working on improving my audio and yours sounds great. I appreciate any advice!

Hello! Specifically we use the Sennheiser E W 100 G3. It is a wireless pack system.
What is the sauce that you show how it’s plated with for eating?? I’ve already looked at the recipe below and the link. I can’t find it anywhere!
@andrewbstevens
3 жыл бұрын
I could be wrong, but I believe that is just the coloration of the plate. There is no sauce on the plate.
👏👍
I cut a few bell peppers laid them on the side and filled them with ground turkey, tomatoes sauce, shredded cheese (pizza blend) and topped with sliced black olives and pepperonis and I made a stuffed bell pepper pizza
If Poblanos are involved, I'm all in.... This will be a good venison recipe for me...
My first time using these peppers and decided to try a USDA Angus ground beef 93% lean. Great video! What about the skin? Do you eat the Poblano skin also? Because some recipies peel the skin off before earing.
@darylmcbride5426

When I cook these I don’t take off the skin and there’s no additional flavor or texture from it. Hope I helped.
What liquid was in bowl?
How can I make this for 2 people
What is in the bowl that you put the finished pepper in? Tortilla soup?
@sharpasatack

It's just the plate. I wondered that for a long time but there's nothing there.
Did you skin the pepper?
Stuffed poblanos are good eating.
I noticed that you didn't charge the peppers to scrape the skin off. Afterwards, is that a necessary step
Right now the poblano peppers were on sell at the grocery store. Now i know what to do with the ones I bought.
Beef, It's what's for Dinner.
I would make those if I could find the special peppers.
Simple basic foods, easy to prepare, reasonably inexpensive... cut the cheese in half and serve with 2 or 3 side dishes of vegetables and its even nutritionally sound.

The plate is empty. It's just the color and glaze of the plate itself. I was looking at it, too, and thinking that there was liquid on there until he put the pepper on for the taste test.
She didn’t really seem impressed. Gonna try it anyways
Yum! I made this vegan by using mushrooms and black beans instead of meat, used vegan cheese and subbed the rice out for quinoa. Served with a vegan avocado crema.
