This recipe will fill up 10- 12 poblano peppers
Ingredients
Corn Tortillas
Poblano pepper, roasted
Filling
2 shredded chicken breast
1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 chopped Anaheim pepper
1 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt (Himalayan)
1 tsp black pepper
Savory broth
1 Tbsp oil + 1 Tbsp butter
3 cups chicken broth (tip below)
1/2 white onion, chopped
3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 Tbsp Mexican Oregano
1/2 Tbsp chicken bouillon (Knorr natural chicken bouillon)
3 Tbsp Cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup tomato sauce
🌶 Add 4 chiles de árbol for flavorful spice
-If you don’t have chicken broth add 1 Tbsp chicken bouillon to 3 cups warm water
Toppings- queso fresco and queso cotija

Hey ladies! You inspired me to make chile rellenos a couple weeks ago. I made it twice, the second time came out better. I'm not Mexican, I'm a black girl, west Indian background - so this was new for me. It was pretty good! The cheese was gooey and the chiles was nice and soft with the golden crust. I found the Spanish chile peppers at the ethnic grocery store, luckily! 2 chiles was a bit too much for me to eat, but I still ate it. I'll make it again in the future. Thanks for the ideas! I made birria too, I need real Latino taste buds to critique my broth. Anyway. Thanks! Adios! Byeee

I cannot tell you how excited I am to try these. Yet, today 10/13ish/2021 I saw your Burria (sp) chili rellonos. Sadly, the recipe disappeared. I love y'alls recipes and would love to make amazing true Mexican food. I have 3 boys and we choose a different Hispanic dish per person once a month. The best dish wins.
