I feel exactly the same as you, I call it self sabotage. Making something go wrong, just because you need to feel it. It's weird. I also relate to this, im currently in my first lockdown, in Shanghai. Ive been here for 3 years but it wasnt until 2022 April that Shanghai was quarantined, and it's been scary. I haven't been to work since March 10th, and I decided to start an art instagram and youtube, and start making stationary. Today is day 11 of art business, and im overwhelmed with support. You are my biggest inspiration too, seeing you able to do all of this has made me realise I can do it too and I don't need to 'stop making art because it has no purpose'. I'm 27, and finally ready to start my life. So thank you.

It's the cloud that makes the stars dissappear, the more cloudy it is the less stars you can see. I live alone too, I got divorced 7 years ago after 36 years of marriage don't have anyone in my life. It's hard at the best of times but Christmas day is the saddest and my birthday but my art keeps me going, I paint everyday, Love your videos!!!

I think we ought to listen to our inner self...I was sooooo unproductive for a few...and I just didn't fight it(well at first I did) and now slowly new ideas are coming to me...things that I really would enjoy doing...I slept a LOT...and was feeling bad about it because if I was working for a "company" would I be doing this? NO. So if I can respect the "company" I can respect myself in a New WAY (only learned that as I listened). I am in a Good Space now and don't fret any longer when I want to nap or just daydream...I love myself so much now...and creating how I want to create...building clients slowly (BUT they are finding ME...who knew!) Well, enjoy your journey...Life is GREAT...Love yourself more then "producing stuff"...but then again do you...!

When you’re talking at the end of your fear about stability- you should look into attachment styles! They discuss why certain people are very dismissive avoidant of attachment and stuff like that maybe you’ll find it interesting! Glad your patreon is going well :3

How I get rid of ants (this kills them btw) i get a spray bottle and fill it up with some water and some soap (and shake it) then I spray the ants (directly on them) you can try that (but like I said before this kills them) P.s. don't spray the soapy water on white walls because it will stain

I tried spraying like bleach and rubbing alcohol which seemed ok too, but the ants will keep coming. They're all gone now though :)

What were the pens you used when you were drawing in your sketchbook? they look cool and i have never seen that brand before. P.S. I love how honest you are about your schedule like when you explained how you spread out your content so you aren't overwhelmed. I feel like a lot of youtubers/art instagramers create loads of content in advance and then post it all at once so people think they are constantly doing exciting things and creating even though thats not the reality. YES I'M NOT ALONE!

I can relate to that feeling of anxiety about going out...how weird. I think this whole Covid 19 and staying in has triggered some things in some of us. Here the weather is nice, but I have to force myself to take a walk in the neighborhood. I've turned into the Amazing Expanding Woman so I guess I will have to do more walking and biking. Ques: how is your laptop handling video editing and rendering? I am on the fence about a much needed new computer - iMac 27 or powerful laptop 16". My old laptop cannot handle editing software. That iMac is so huge though.

It's doing great so far! I think with all laptops it will start heating up while exporting(especially during summertime), but it hasn't failed me yet :)

Why do stars disappear? Light speed. The stars that you see in the sky are millions of miles away. Their brightness takes time to reach the earth’s sky for our eyes to visually see them. Stars are balls of gas. Sometimes the gas dissipates or “disappears” so the ball they created no longer shines. When that brightness dies, it may take a couple of days or years for that brightness to go away from the sky because of how long it takes for light (or the lack of light) to travel. So looking up at the stars is like looking back in time at stars that used to exist that may not exist anymore. Its pretty cool. Enjoy 💕

i love your studio vlogs! this one was really pleasant to watch. as a pro-tip for cutting your own hair because your hair is a little on the finer side, you should actually avoid wetting your hair before cutting because it makes your hair look less thick and it can lead to you cutting too much off. it wasn't necessarily the fault of your cutting, but your hair being wet. (idk if anyone explained it, but yeah.) also! with protein shakes, i recommend adding things like fruits, veggies, peanut butter, and/or oats. it can definitely add to the flavour of the shake if you don't like the taste of basic protein shakes. (i recommend berries, bananas, and mangoes. those are the best flavor additions, imo, plus there are great natural sugars in them. also, i recommend changing up the milks you use because that can also change the flavour as well.) (someone already mentioned what i would have recommended in regards to your comments about your worries and fears about stability, so instead i say, i hope you find something that helps you come to embrace your form of stability, no matter the shape it takes.)

One time I focused on the moon and got super freaked out at how fast it was moving. (Like was worried the moon was about to crash into earth,lol.) Turns out he night sky moves pretty fast if you pay attention! And i think a lot of folks relate to feeling like there endless time right now. I apparently am getting called back to work soon but then they decided to stay closed another couple weeks so Im like okay, sittin around some more. Ive been trying to tackle some house projects but even though Im doing little steps nothing feels like its done at all. (Except cleaning and organizing my kitchen cupboards, but that took like a month to do 9 cupboards. Lol)

now that your working out again and eating protein from those tubs that look like the protein i used to buy, i feel like your taking my place haha. i dont work out anymore, i got sick and i couldnt run that well. so i am working out vicariously through this video XD. i used to have shaker bottle like that too. and it used to be 5 or 6 days of work out, mostly 5 by 5s too. that seems like years ago ( it was like 8 years ago so yeah). edit: i laughed at your alien story. that was the most stretched way of thinking, but its funny i get the same thing especially when the covid seems like its getting ot everyone.

hahaha let's see how long I can keep up with working out! I feel like it was so much easier working out when it was with other people, it felt very motivating. I don't think I will be doing 5x5s anymore because I'm still a bit nervous going to the bigger gym that has the squat rack! For now I'll just use my community gym to work out in :3
