Hey! Congrats on finally launching your Patreon!! :) It's really inspiring to see you become a freelance artist, especially since I would like to be something of that nature in the future. For the dishes, you could try using disposable paper plates. If that isn't for you, you could also try to associate doing the dishes as a break/chill time. You can make a set time (after you eat or at the end/beginning of each day) to do the dishes, and make it fun by putting on some music or a favorite podcast. You could even set a timer to 5-15 minutes and do however many dishes you can in that time frame, so it becomes less daunting. Find whatever works for you! Hope this helped! :)

We are similar ages but in very different careers but you talking about your dishes and wanting to go out for lunch just resonates so much with me. I find it was always hard when living on my own away from home that food was always something I had to be really strict about and the thing that worked for me was batch cooking and freezing it so it was there for me and I was less temped to go out.

Honestly thank you for making these vlogs! It’s really relieving to be able to watch your videos in these times as they’re so wholesome and it puts my mind off all the problems this world is facing right now! Your honestly an inspiration for me rn :)) ❤️

Oh my gosh I definitely relate at 7:20 the struggle to do dishes after cooking. One of my techniques is after finishing cooking, and just before serving up my food ( especially handy when u live alone) I will run a sink of hot/very warm water. To soak some things while I'm eating. That way when I come back to the sink with my eating dishes, some of the things are already half clean and the task at hand of those last few eating dishes feels more manageable ♡. Hope this helps some people♡

Duyu is so cute. I follow you on instagram and started following Duyu's account when i saw it on your stories. I am so addicted but i have 3 cats of my own. I think it was good for you to post your video. I need to put one up but have deleted 3 since all the this covid and now all this horrible that has been happening. I hate washing plates too but one thing I try doing is cooking things that use the least amount of things to wash as well as washing things up whilst i'm cooking so when everything's done, there's less to wash up

the excited and aggressive smashing of the envelope so you can test out your stamp 😂😂😂 also, i think what you said about educating yourself on the blm movement and antiblackness/black history in general was very good! glad you're making the steps toward educating yourself. so much history gets buried and it can be overwhelming at times, but really, REALLY makes you such a better person once you learn. you can have great conversations with all sorts of people when you have a better idea of where they come from! i've made friends from all over because i've always been very curious about different cultures and histories, and even if i only have a small idea of what someone's ancestors went through, it really makes such a big difference. people feel so seen.

As a kid, I used to think that learning stopped after school ended. Now I really think learning as an adult is so important and there is so much things out there to learn!

Hi! I lived in Vegas/Southern Nevada all my life (just moved away recently) and I have some ant tips! I like to use a spray that says it is anti-ant on it and I would spray this spray on the inside and outside of the bottom of doors and window sills a few times a year as a preventative thing. If you have a hot spot, spray it in that general area as well. As long as you don't leave food out, which you know already, then this should keep your place ant free. Might also keep others bugs away as well. Hope this helps!

Hi, I've recently subscribe to you and I'll say that you do make people happy, especially me in the small amount of time your presence has been in my life. I want you and other potential people that may see this know that it's okay to feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to do in this time, especially in the US with everything that's going on. I'm a black person myself and I feel a bit paralyzed with what to do and how to help because of the stuff going on in the nation but also personally. I currently haven't made any big post on my insta but I have been sharing things in my story and even though it's not a lot I feel like it helps even if reaches like a small handful of people. Just do what your heart leads you to do.

If you have a freezer, use it !! I meal prep. Makes maybe 4-5 liters of bolognese and slices down portions of tupperware. Take a portion in the morning, cook pasta when I eat and heat the bolognese in the microwave or in the same saucepan after the water is taken out. Then you have a pan, a plate, a fork and a box to wash.

Cat are the best pets very entertaining with a laser pointer. Dawn soap water in a bowl or spray bottle can help with the 🐜.

This was a really nice video again! I think you are doing the right thing with educating yourself and talking about this, but on the same time posting a video that distracts people ^^ Oh, and if you still have that ant problem... i recommend you to put baking powder where the ants are walking, it works nearly as fine as an ant killer (but its pretty brutal to use it... the ants eat it and then they kind of... explode from the inside. So i don't know if you want to do that :D)
