Less than 24 hours after meeting each other in 2013, producer Luke Moellman and vocalist Jon Sander had already written their first song together.
Within a year, the duo collectively known as Great Good Fine Ok had released a critically acclaimed EP and secured a major label record deal - an explosive combination that would take them to the top 10 of iTunes’ dance charts, with performances at Bonnaroo and SXSW, collaborations with St. Lucia and The Chainsmokers, and headlining tours of their own.
In this episode of A Brief Exploration, we invited Luke and Jon out to our studio to remix their recent single "Blame" and talk in real time about their process of creating music inside Studio One.

Fanrtastic DAW. Been using it for about a week and a half now. Still lots to learn. But I must say...The more I use it the less I miss my previous DAW and enjoy the simplisity, ease of use and great features of S1 Pro. It feels like S1 understands me more the way it's designed and coded. Thanks to a great amazing coding team... Presonus must look after the tech guys carefully. They know what they're doing...😊😊 Also now a full fledge S1+ member.
I love this group and Studio One is one of my favorite pieces of software so this is really cool to see them using it too.

After having tried almost all the existing DAWs, I tried S1, and everything changed. It was not just another DAW, was the best I have tried in DAWs. How easy everything is, and, as another comment says, it seems to understand you. Drag, drop, all without complications. Fast, easy and elegant, my previous DAWs are getting further away. I love the MIDI editor and everything in general.

Love Sudio One!!! A request to developers: Right click, tools, PLEASE, main tool with one click only, if I need secondary tool then with two clicks.
Been on Studio One for 8 years now. Tried other daws, but they just slow me down. I have all my shortcuts programmed how I like it. Efficient and intuitive. Working with midi is hands down the best in SO6. Love GGFO, great to know they're on SO too.

Joe I can't find my answer anywhere on ya'lls video tutorials so this is the best way to reach out to you for me at the moment cuz I don't know how to reach you. I imported a MP3 song I recorded to a new record and mix template. I know the song is 68 BPM and the template is set for 120 BPM so when I go to change the tempo down below, it time stretches the original!!! even when I establish the tempo before I load the template, it still stretches the recording. I want to adjust the tempo without affecting the recording of the MP3. my inspector window has no tempo or time stretch option.
S1 is seriously lacking extensive Tagging and browser organization like Ableton.
Studio One 7 should be about beat making. That's where we are making money as a beat maker and S1 is lacking a lot in that area. The sampler is not strong as other DAW sampler, no pitch formant, no LFO, no note panning, no FM Synth and many more. But the DAW is actually dope 💯 I hope presonus can give us all these in S17 and you will control the world
