Here's a simple way to remove those stuck pinion gears! I've done this for MANY reels and the success rate is about 80%. Quick, simple and easy! Use your head when trying this... don't leverage against the housing so hard that you crack/break it! Other more stubborn pinion stacks need a different type of treatment that I will not show you here. Heck, I may never show you in the public forum. See below for helpful equipment and supply links.
