@@saket1009 Boycott was an idiot when he was playing... Even more of an idiot when he's commentating... True, Aussie batsmen are vulnerable when the ball is swinging, as are most batsmen. But English batsmen are more used to those conditions. In Australia, English batsmen struggle with the extra bounce and seam movement and of course Australian batsmen are more used to it... In the sub continent it's the spin etc... One of the great things about the game, is the difference in conditions. Adds variety and is a great leveler. Home advantage is a massive advantage in test cricket mostly, and is part of why test cricket is so interesting. 🏏👍

On balance, framing Smith as a bit of a flat track bully wasn't totally unreasonable - he had a huge average but not many instances of rearguard or really gritty performances and in that series he really did cash in on the two flat decks while being exposed on the three that favoured English bowlers making his large series average a bit of a false impression. Boycott here is way too harsh though and exposes both silly jingoism and his perennial belief that he was better than anyone else. That has, of course, changed and Smith is a well deserved great of the game

It was as good as every other time I've watched these highlights but I remember watching this live (on TV sadly) and being astonished. My boss at the time was a cricket mad Aussie. He started to get really pissed off with me updating him on the score every time a wicket fell. We were both supposed to be working but we were both more interested in the cricket than work. Farewell, Stuart. You were always fun to watch. Thank you for everything you've done for England over the years.

We were 300-3 or something at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with the pitch here not like the dust bowls you lot prepare whilst tossing yourselves off to Kohli

@@benjaminrobinson6205 you go to Australia, and get pitches having crack, now you say, England we don't get such pitches, come on grow up, come out of your western mentality. It's climate conditions causing pitches to get dusty. It's nothing to do with kohli and Indian team. Your English team is awful. They are home track or flat track bully.

@@krishnanagam2344 no I’m not crying, I’m just saying if there’s one positive we can take from this, it’s that India’s batsmen failed this series on there own turf.

England should have played Moin Ali, James Anderson, Jack leach and Stuart Broad/ Jofra Archer in all the 4 Tests. Why blame rotation policy when ICC Test championship is at stake? In T20s and ODIs England could've fielded players acçording to Rotation policy.
