One of the main reasons why I love the game of cricket . Is because of legends like Ben Stokes . He’s right up there with the greatest of Englands players . At his best , just unplayable . Gonna be missed by England .

Somewhere his unavailability unfolds condition differences as Stokes and entire English team haven't experience in the Caribbean because England play there very rarely and not keeping good records also 😢😢😢😢😢

I think we may be about to see the return of Ben Stokes in the bowling department after recovering from that knee operation. Let's hope so, because we need him to be an all rounder, not just a batsman.

He dismissed the middle order as well in this spell but sure mate.
It's no wonder he's got no knees left. 14 and a half overs on the trot - that's crazy and a little bit irresponsible by the captain. Great spell but I'd have rested him after 6.

No, the reason for the guys behind ( the slip corden) is for tempting the batsman to hit one that’s wider then the straight ones and get a catch

The aim of the bowler is to hit the stumps. So yes, he is bowling consistently wide and hoping for a snick onto the slips cordon. But why would you when the balls are coming in so far adrift of the target?

He is also setting up the batsman for one that he will swing in, not out. All part of the skill set.
