@@scsutton1 True that...Cook, KP, Bell, Strauss, Trott, Swann, Collingwood, Broad and now Anderson...This lot (2009-2012) was easily England's best test side that won the ashes in Australia and also beat India in India

The cause of annoyance is retired now. 😅
After Anderson's retirement England bowling will be the weakest in years. His retirement will bring an end of a finest era of English cricket generation that showed us the likes of Strauss, Peterson, Bell, Flintoff, Swan, Broad and Anderson.

Not sure why Anderson is retiring after 1 test they could and should have given him the first series but I still think he’s gone early he may be into his 40s but there isn’t another English pace bowler anywhere near him even now
same thing gonna repeat in jimmy/james anderson's last test and he's gonna beat shane warne

This really gets me annoyed when people say he’s only any good in home conditions but you can’t say that about every pace bowler ,Anderson has been Englands best bowler for the last 15 years if not longer home and away ,let’s give the guy the respect he deserves

That is because of the longevity and injury less career not class. He just had more matches to play compared so many better bowlers. And also he was used better by his team. Other teams either tire their best bowler or just don't know how to use them.
