THIS! I was saying this from start, when i found our Sainz lost seat in Ferrari. Noone belived me back than :D What a powerhouse AM would be.

Lance should just volunteer to leave AM. If he actually loves the sport and racing, he should prove he doesn't need "daddy's money or support" in order to do well. All he has proven his own "entitled" he is / feels ( last year when he shoved his trainer, what a bad look for himself, the team, and the sport) But clearly we know that won't happen.

Red Bull as a company = 18 billion, Lawrence Stroll = 4 billion, so if Red Bull wants to keep someone I'm pretty sure they could find a way to keep them. But yea, it would make sense for Newey and Verstappen to want to follow Honda, we will see. I'm sure Red Bull is confused and hurt by Honda withdrawal and then re entry after they made all these moves to protect themselves from an engine disparity

Daddy Stroll doesn’t really care about winning. Letting Lance have a seat is more important.

Interesting review but your Newey coverage should have included the obvious and highly relevant point that Newey already has a strong relationship with AM outside F1having designed the Valkyrie. This bears mentioning especially when making the point in your piece about the Red Bull RB17 hypercar which, in the image you featured, looks just like the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

I'm an agnostic F1 fan, I'd love to support Aston Martin..but they have to ditch Stroll. As you said, Stroll Jr could still race for Aston Martin, Just not in F1. If Stroll Jr does as well has he does in F1, but in a different part of AMR he really could be a GREAT racer. Lets be honest, Stroll Jr is a WAY better driver than most & has a bunch of experience. Still not a fan, but that can change. IF it was Alonso & Probably Sainz With Newey, What a great team they could be! I might now be as agnostic as I am now = D

Strange how Honda never demanded a Japanese driver at Red Bull R. Personally, I would tell Honda to stick it! They've always been a fairweather engine supplier. You never know when they're going to quit and leave you high and dry on the beach.

Newey loves the prototypes, he flogged his own GT40 for some time. Can't you see him penning another Le Mans iconic legend himself? What a capstone on his career! It's my wish he does so, where better than Aston Martin. The only thing that would make it incredibly symmetrical would be if it was a Bentley instead, as they have quite the LeMans pedigree and legacy...but AM will do. A man can dream!

Reading between the lines from Honda, Stroll wont have a seat in 2026, that seems pretty obvious. To show Honda they are serious about winning championships, they should kick Stroll for 2025 and get Carlos in, that’d be probably the best driver line up at any team on the grid.

nice video, but it's all just speculation, doesn't matter what honda really says, as long as daddy stroll continues to fund a team to have lance as a driver, aston maartin can never be a serious competitor as a team, first move that has to be made is for lance to be released, he only has gotten to this point because of his dad, he would not even be there.... well maybe daddy stroll could buy him a seat at the old williams team, but if they want a winning team, the first thing they have to do is get someone with knowledge and ability to replace lance stroll, then maybe they could be a second place team behind the red bulls, reguardless, as long as lance is around, at best they are a forth or fifth place team, right now the only thing they have is alonso, and even that can't last forever

Yuki into the second seat? Unless redbull sell RB to andretti, and they then continue to use Honda engines (they already supply their indycar engines) till the GM engines from 2028. That would allow them to also have a customer team (as well as AM being works team) for the start of the new regs for 4 cars to give data for development, and retain the team-driver relationship yuki has built with the team over at minardi/STR/AT/VCARB

Honda will want a Japanese Driver, but I think Laurence could just "buy" some portion of loyalty from a bottom tier team like Williams and place Yuki there.

Surely Honda can't have any influence until 2025 season over with then certainly depending if Lance has had a really bad season then force Lawrence Stroll to bin him and bring in Yuki end of 25 season for the start of the Honda partnership. With Honda Alonso & if Aston manage to bring in Newey you can't bet against Fernando been back were he so deserves the top step of the podium again fighting for another WDC .

I have never understood the hate for Lance. Clipping a wall at the end of the race - come forward George Russell (not once, but three times). yes Lance is not as good as Alonso, but few are.
