Merci Vero, for this walk. I spent a lot of time in the Marais when I visited in February/March. Once again I got all excited to see Le Sancerre, as I’ve shared I had several occasions to stop for a glass of Sancerre, or lunch with a glass of Sancerre, or apero... I found this to be a most charming restaurant and location to watch people!
Bonjour Véro! It would be very interesting to see a video from "Chanteloup-les-Vignes" - there is a lot to say about this area, especially in light of the movie "La Haine." Also, it would be interesting to see a literature-based tour e.g. Rue Neuve Sainte Geneviève where the alleged Maison Vauquer from Le Père Goriot was :) Much love xxxx

I see the bistrot in the Marché where I ate last trip: L'estaminet (spelling?) where I ate a lovely lunch. I even saw the table where I sat on the corner outside of the restaurant.

I also ate at Chez Alain Miam, Miam on a previous trip just after he had moved to the new space outside of the Marché. Fun to remember since I couldn't come this spring.

@@dlshearer777 Alain Miam Miam still works at both locations. He is usually at the market (stall currently being remodeled,) and his relatives handle the nearby restaurant.
Those red church doors were open today, sorry the painting wasn't visible. Thanks for trying.
