HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Bigstackd really helped me out when I just started melting metal, the reason I needed a forge is because I always had an insane amount of copper wire going to the trash from drier and range power cables since I work at an appliance store. @15:00 no bandage on your thumb @15:07 bandage wrapped in tape Bigstackd: going above and beyond, even injuring himself, for our enjoyment. I always hate the weird stares I get when salvaging stuff from trash piles. I save a lot of money cutting the cords from appliances and other electronics like vacuum sweepers since I don't have to buy that wire for projects. Same with buckets.

Since it isn't a real bandage, and since he only has it while working with the fine copper, I would guess it's for protection to keep the tiny bits out of his thumb. He isn't wearing it later.

Plot Twist: bigstackd specifically chose those dryers over any others cause he knew they had motors that were a certain configuration that demanded the use of a 10 mm. It was as if a gift from the heavens, the perfect opportunity to revive the legendary bit of the lost 10mm. The entire video, all 32 minuets and 59 seconds were all a cover up of said bit revival.

That was a truly satisfying thick aluminum melt. Very next scene was just a cinder block in the garage but my eyes were weirdly fix that it was making some optical illusion to me. For some reason everything looked like some plateau with bottom right of the screen being a chunk chipped off. When you placed mold on it my brain was like "thank you" because I was in a weird trance.

The determination of the 10mm sockets to hide, run away, or just skidaddle..., is just one of those mysterious things of our civilization.

It is amazing how much scrap metal is in these appliances. That thing with the 10mm sockets was funny, the escape string was priceless. Thanks for the fun ☺☺☺

1st it was just treasure.. End part of all this is when it became beautiful treasure, Imagine the satisfaction looked from his face doing all this. So shiny... And he knows where to hide too, all of mine was stolen so sad. And yeah i hit the button to see more of that, i didnt know you can get so much shiny from a washing machine, thank you sir.

Greetings from The US. I don't know why I enjoy this channel so much. I would like to try smelting, but the trailer community I live in would raise hell over safety issues. When you hit your goal of 1 ton maybe I can buy one of your creations.
