Monster Copper Connections To Ancient Artifact - BigStackD Casting Alloys - ASMR Metal Melting

Ойын-сауық

How is everyone on this toasty warm Friday? Well its definitely warm here that's for sure. Today i was watching a documentary on ancient Egypt and it got me thinking of this particular piece I've always wanted ,I printed it a while ago but hadn't tried it yet so today ill be using random scrap to make 4 of them .A Copper, Aluminum ,Nordic Gold and Aluminum Bronze . Want to help support the channel Simply donate some of your time just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻and like I always say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organize a 5% link for you off the total furnace price just email me on bigstackddddd@mail.com 😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it??????.
****************************************************
STEEL FOR MY FRIEND
I keep all my steel and cast iron pieces and I give them to my friend and once he gets about a tonne from me and his own collecting he takes that to the scrapyard and sells it then he buys some beer and comes over to my house and we make a night of it.
No My friend doesn’t have a KZread channel he just scraps metal in his spare time.

How are all you sensational subs and random viewers this week? I hope everyone is happy and healthy and I hope you can sit back turn off your worries and tune out of life while I make today’s awesome additions to my stack. While watching a documentary on Egypt it got me thinking I don’t have any Egyptian treasure so why not make my own . I have seen this piece and design a lot over the years I remember the first time I saw it was playing the original Tomb Raider on PSone when I was a little kid. So today I’ll cast The Ankh. The ankh or key of life is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that was most commonly used in writing and in Egyptian art to represent the word for "life" . Now that that’s all said and done Why not Donate a little bit of your time in The way of allowing one or two ads to play through this will help support the channel😆 more revenue means more giveaways👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻

I can certainly see the munchkins retaliating with all kinds of havoc if he tried using them to make the moulds...(chewed up furniture & shoes, re-colouring various fabric items yellow - 1 patch at a time, leaving brown surprise "Packages" where you least expect to step on them, digging up the grass/gardens etc.)...

The ending made me think, you can 3d print a pyramid. Without the limestone cap on top. Just the pyramid with brick texture and cast it out of copper. Then, tou can melt aluminum, and upturn the pyramid and dip it in and coat the top. Do it several times to thicken it up. Then it looks like it has the cap on top!

In 1715, a hurricane sank a 10 ships in a Spanish treasure fleet very close to the east coast of Florida. From time to time after storms, Spanish gold washes ashore to be found by the army of people with metal detectors. If your very cool casting was left on this beach, you could easily cause a heart attack when someone found your artwork. They wouldn't know it was an Egyptian design at first Bravo!!! Well done...

The Ankh burning and glowing red in the sand might be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, the key of life turned into a key of flames haha

As always, a sensational video of melts. Seeing that u enjoy the Egyptian style of melts/molds, I think a pyramid of Nordic gold would look great to add to your collection. Maybe even have the details of the layers in it too. Just an idea. See ya in next week's episode of castings.

The image of that open-cast ankh burning in its mould was gorgeous, worth the sight even if the end product wasn't quite clear. Bravo!
