I’d like to see some more coins and molded castings, but I do think I enjoy the teardowns of the equipment about as much as the melts and pours. Pretty sure I ain’t the only one who digs the longer format you’ve lately adopted. All good stuff, D. Give the pups pets and skritches, as always!

Such precise and delacate plastic removal. Truly your skills are unmatched.

That petrobond sequence was a PERFECT recreation of the speed of my thoughts when I am trying and failing to sleep while utterly exhausted.

4 things to say today, 1 I like the brass bar best, 2 the scrap storage area looks great, 3 so still not got that vice connected to the bench and 4 I hate flathead screws aswell they are hateful things. Excellent video again this week, thank you. 👍👍👍👍👍

Flat head screws are only useful as a kid when you have no tools and can open or close them up with a butterknife, "these knives can't even cut bread anymore!"...

You got that right buddy , it’s very rare Ingot is in turbo mode this early in the morning, it usually takes him till lunchtime to get his zoomies on , and then that’s only for three minutes and he’s back to sleep for a few hours. Just when I thought I knew all the tools I needed in my life, you show me another one!! Opening the tank made me chuckle!🧸 Tough question as I love brassy goodness but I'm a copper girl so I'll have to say the copper bars but the finishes were stunning on them all!! The drawing on the side of your fridge was very cute too🐾 Also loving the scrap storage👌, could do with some of that space 😂

For a scoop for slag I use a large metal stir spoon you can probably find them at local supermarkets, awesome bars today! 🍻👍

I have watched every single one of your videos. They air at about half past nine in the UK so after I have gone shopping and done my errands I sit down with my two black Labradors and we watch from beginning to end. Thanks for putting out such consistent content. Cheers 🍻

Here in Cali, I look forward to these videos every Friday morning. I'm not sure why I'm so addicted. I don't work in metal, never thought about it, just ran across your videos one day (almost a year now) and I was hooked. My wife thinks I'm crazy, I say it's a calming way to start my weekend. Great video, but I'm wondering if all the 10mm got away, haven't seen them in awhile. Oh, I like the brass, it's always one of my favorite melts along with the Nordic Gold.

Great video as always. I prefer the copper bar because of working with it before. Expecting a large snow storm today in Missouri . A great weekend awaits us, let's go !

Send some of the snow to Maryland, will ya? Last weekend we got gypped. I think I saw a total of 5 snowflakes mixed in with the rain.

The heating elements are normally made from inconel or incoloy, very high heat resistant material. Great videos 👍

I used to design cartridge heaters - thats most likely 304 stainless or incoloy depending on how cheap they went. The white powder is MgO. It is generally swaged with the heating element in tbe middle, and then bent to shape. They sometimes come with brass pipe fittings on the end so look out :)

This is the first time I have watched since you blew past the 1000-kgs goal. I thought at 1000 kgs you might cash your bars, show us how rich you are from cashing in, and how you are moving on to bigger and better things while making a life-sized statue of Ernie Dingo, but nae, you just made my blue balls bluer.

Love seeing even the dust collected and saved!

Everything adds up even that little brass. Overtime in a glass jar it will become one day a melt saving those little pieces. Always a good habit to have. Never leave anything behind. 🍻

I liked brass, though I wear copper stuff. Since learning about Nordic Gold on this channel, it is my new favorite. 👍

A cool thought. All of those bars of metal you're forming, every last one of them, are made of material forged in the cores of stars. In essence, you have a room with more than 1,000kgs of condensed stellar fusion byproduct.

I’ve always loved them little bars for some reason. Just the way they shine when they are mirrored really fascinates me

Nice polish on the ingots, great work on the fence and good to see nice healthy snacks for monkeys!

What is a water heater element made of? Water Heater Elements 101 An element is the part of the water heater that physically heats the water. The American Coin is wonderfull! And The Brass is perfect!

The "waste" slag from your melts are abrasive oxides and if you had the means, you could pulverize them into sandy particles & make abrasive sandpaper with it & even at different grits. Just an idea.

That's one of your best ice quenches ever. I didn't know copper turned black when it was hot, after it cooled from glowing temperatures, until I watched this channel.

All right...its 94 degrees (F) there and 19 degrees (F) herein the USA midwest with a blizzard going on. Monday/Tuesday -34degree (F) wind chills. Rub it in!

The heat is tremendous there, here in Argentina we are exactly the same and on top of that we have been hard storms in a large part of the country that has caused flooding and destruction, luckily there was none of that where I live. Have you ever picked up your packages dressed-up in the face paint? Or had a delivery when your painted like that? It looks awesome. It's always a pleasure to see that face paint. Its really cold where i live - wind chill added its -46C here with a high of -20C in the afternoon + 60CM of snow. I bet the heat is not so bad now

Both are nice, but the copper, well, i like it the most, zink is fun to melt ,i like how heavy the is, brass pours like poop, but after cleaning it up makes me feel like i polished a turd, you inspired me to get a furnace and im having a blast melting the metals instead of watching others who do it , THANK YOU SIR! your awesome 👍

I really enjoy when you take the time to polish and stamp the bars, they come look so professional looking. Sorry (I know you love copper) but I love the brass! Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work!
