Just ate here last weekend - the food was amazing. Had the porchetta and lampredotto sandwiches. Spend 12 euro for 2 sandwiches water and a Fanta. In the us $12 would maybe get you 1 sandwich and a water. Thanks for the video

@@doggo2643 Come on, a crappy McDonalds quarter pounder in almost 7 dollars in the US. The even crappier McDouble, made with pink slime and assorted 'meat' parts is over three dollars. You can't compare anything in the States to how people live and eat in Italy.

@@gplito I'm from an european country so I can't really compare it, I had this idea the US was cheaper, but you must be right! Although that McDonald's menu over here is probably the same price as in the US give or take.

@@doggo2643 it’s not so Much about cheaper as it is about value snd what one can get for their money. Generally speaking, while we have a lot of food here access to the quality I’ve seen in Europe is pretty rare.

@@doggo2643 for example, one clam is almost two dollars. And in most of the country impossible to find. But frozen fish sticks are very cheap. I’m not sure why McDonald’s is so expensive, but it it. And there are really good places for a much better burger for a few bucks more sometimes only a few doors away

@@TarannumTasnuvaZ To understand what i am talking about you should go and check one of those videos about street food in Korea where they have not a clue what good food is about as they drown whatever they put in their mouth with disgusting amounts of sauces filled with fat salt and sugar and opposed to real food where the freshness of the ingredients and the simplicity of the preparation is key ( see italian and french food for references). Was that clear enough Tarannum?

The first sandwich is called lampredotto. It's the 5th stomach of the cow, which gets boiled and seasoned and served as sandwich or standalone dish with beans and tomato sauce

Hey mom, we're seeing lot's of interesting things: just today we followed some peeps into a local hole in the wall...and so busy...they handled all the food bare handed, sliced some wiggly stuff that I think was all jello and? Then ladled on floating grease and handed it to me. Oh was that something...and the ER wasn't bad either...

That's literally the point of Lampredotto. They purposefully dunk the buns in the juices of the meat. You'd have to try it to understand.

It's called Lampredotto in Italy, it's one of the stomachs of the cow - one of the least used in other countries too. It's a delicacy of Florence, where it's thoroughly cleaned and slow-cooked in a vegetable broth. It might not be a looker but it's absolutely delicious
