U dont know that actually, a lot of people have private instagrams and dont really put it out there that they have one. They use it to follow and be followed by friends & family only. Also if she doesnt , doesnt mean she will never use insta or FB etc. Btw you can be hardworking AND be on cosial media, so idk why include that , not everybody who has insta or fb will only be on theyre profiles 24/7. Not to mention that u can use these kind of sites to promote your work etc.

Chef Gaggan is one cheerful and humble chef there, friendly character😎

I used to cook for 10 years professionally. My wife and I travelled all over the world for the past 6 months i think thailand, indonesia are the best food we could possibly have. We loved it. Its a shame that the government doesnt support the hawkers in some sukhmvits. I hope this helps Mark. Anything helps. I hope one day we meet and can do the same in our hometown of Calgary, Canada.

the fact that this is the lady who i buy roti from regularly and to see her there makes me so proud!

In Malaysia it's call ROTI CANAI ( CHANAI ). Mark, you already taste it in Malaysia. In Malaysia when we fried the roti, we use less oil.

Please do more of these Mark. These vendors deserve more recognition just like this! Loved this upload.

The daughter is beautiful. The mom seems very genuine too.

Chef Gagan deserves special appreciation. He not only arranged for the place, and helped ideate the dishes, but also contributed monetarily. Indians always make for some amazing people wherever they go! 😊

If you have a chance, watch his Chef's Table episode on Netflix. Guy grew up facing lot of hardships in India and so did his family. At one point when Gaggan was away from home studying/working his family situation was so bad that they didn't have money for electricity at home. Before Gaggan became famous and won the Michelin star and Asia's best restaurant award he also lost his brother who was his biggest motivator and supporter. I wish Gaggan the best of success and hope to eat his food one day.

This is incredible! My husband and I were staying just down the street from where she normally has her food cart and discovered her green roti our first night in Bangkok. It was so delicious we went back the next night- were so bummed we were out of town the day of the event and can’t believe we missed seeing you the day you were prepping for the event! She is definitely a hard worker and there was always at least a few people in line when we went to get some. It set the standard for roti for us and is hard to beat for sure! Thanks for you hard work for her!

In this world, full of hatred, racism, murders, honor killings, child abuses, rapes etc. it needs more good people like you. If you care for humanity regardless of religion, race, cast, country etc. then you are alive.
