Having played a bit of Yakuza 0 and the SF6 demo they remind me so much of each other. So far SF6 has a bit less personality but that could change in the full thing.

I think Ellen and Andy decided that would be in Tears of the Kingdom. Either way, it looks like extremely promising.

Fun fact: if you actually are naturally disproportunately built IRL, the SF 6 character creator has a decent shot at letting you create an avatar that accurately represents you, if you decide to try that route. It is a nice side effect of a feature known for creating monstrosities. My avatar won't win beauty awards, but barring my hair currently being longer IRL and my avatar not having my glasses yet, it is still a legit fictional version of me.

My current favorite NPC is Chuli, not to be mistaken with Chun Li, which she definitely often get mistaken for

a few years ago the devs behind sifu made their first game absolver, a semi open world game 3rd person action fighting game where you go and fight everyone in the map but can also create your fighting style by equipping different moves and how well they synergised when strung together in a combo. i think the game had around 200 moves of four different schools of martial arts and you could use any 12 in your deck. i was sad to see the move crafting missing from sifu. maybe sf6 can scratch that itch somewhat.

Sifu was a much more focused, enjoyable game than Absolver though. Absolver was sort of aimless.

Godhand for the PS2 did this first and unfortunately the company went bankrupt as the rest of the game was relatively janky and way too difficult - but Godhand walked so Street Fighter could run!

@@deadfIag The company behind Godhand did not go bankrupt, it was Capcom and you're commenting on a video about their latest multimillion game. The *developers* of Godhand were a subsidiary of Capcom and were released because of poor sales for Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Godhand, all of which was mostly down to Capcom's own incompetent marketing. The developers went on to find other publishers to release games like Bayonetta, Nier Automata, Metal Gear Rising, and so many many more.

@@MrGhostTheBigRoast Absolver...I just bounced off it. The idea sounded great but the lack of any shape or focus meant I lost interest, and the combo system was too complex for a game like that. If it had held my interest as a game, a ggame with some kind of purpose and momentum, I might have gotten deeper into that combo system, but it didn't, and multiplayer PVP stuff isn't really my thing outside of racing games. But it seems like it shaped their vision for Sifu. And I think even though the reviews for Sifu were good they should've been better. It's an incredibly satisfying, pure videogame.

You know what Spinning Bird Kicking across rooftops reminds me of? Those old Mario RPGs where Mario and Luigi would stand on each other's heads and spin to float across long-spaced platforms.

The amount of "I don't play fighting games but I want to try this" comments on here are heartwarming! It's so exciting to see there's finally a way for casual players to financially support this most competitive and complex of genres, and World Tour mode even has some design elements to secretly teach beginners how fighting games *actually* work (stop worrying about memorizing combos, kids).

I’m hyped for SF6 and I hope we see a lot more of it on the channel. It would be cool to see a SF match as a Christmas challenge too.

I use the term ‘beat-‘em-ups’ extremely loosely. I was more reminiscing about running around GTAs and Elder Scrolls, doing whatever you want, and picking fights with nobodies on the street.

Capcom used Zenny as the world currency in the Breath of Fire series and was the premium currency that Street Fighter V briefly used for its microtransactions.

Zenny is Capcom's go to name for a non-specific world currency. You'll find it in most of their games since the 90s.

You don't need internet for World Tour mode

the first SF game I played was 4 and didn't really like it, but the wacky fun of this mode makes me kinda wanna play SF6

This looks like everything I wanted out of Dragon Ball Xenoverse and didn't get.

If they release ST7 in the future, I hope to can make more open world on every country, extend the story line more, side quest more.

I wonder if Megamind will make an appearance in Metrocity?

I hate when your just waking around and a thug randomly punches you to start a fight and the subway is insane. I wish there were a better way to travel from one side of metro city to the other end, you gotta use the subway train. 😮‍💨

So I figured how to go from the west side of town to the east side of town without using the subway train. In chun-li's side of town, go in the back streets of Chinatown and there's a ladder (there are 3 of them) choose the ladder at the end of the street, after climbing the ladder, then using chun-li's special move to the other side of the building tops. And there's a another ladder 🪜 which brings you higher up. Then just fall to the other side of the ground and your behind the police barricade. (Which won't hurt you when falling) but to reach the east side from the Westside your gonna have to use the subway train. But that's a quick way to the east though.

I remember these games on the PS2.

I'm play through every part of it as much as possible🎮

You guys should up your influencing status and post videos of all those behind the scene videos of Jane-Li.

I can't wait to see Shrek in SF6

I'll be honest, I lost interest in SF a long time ago and didn't care about the new game at all so was going to skip this video but boy- glad I didn't. Went straight onto the PS5 to download the demo so if it's as fun as OXBox make it look then might be a surprise purchase on my part...

HELP Im trying ti learn special moves but the button input is showing a blank circle. Any ideas?

If it's possible to do a cat-tail and water powers.... I might be able to make one of my old characters from the White Wolf Streetfighter TTRPG back in the 90s.
