Strawberry Yogurt Cream Rice Cake Recipe :: Homemade Mochi Recipe

I made strawberry flavored glutinous rice cake.
The recipe and ingredients are simple, and it's really delicious.
These are very popular rice cakes in Korea these days.
*** Weighing is scale (g), rice spoon (tbsp), teaspoon (tsp) weighing.
[10 things]
✤ Ingredients
-200g Glutinous rice flour
-240ml Strawberry milk
-40g Sugar
-2g Salt
✤ Yogurt cream
-70g Whipped cream
-80g Sweetened greek yogurt (sweetened plain yogurt available)
-3tbsp Strawberry jam
✤ Do not get on your hands when kneading
-Starch powder (any kind)
-Cooking oil (starch powder can be used)
✤ TIP
-Store rice cakes in the freezer.
-Melt frozen rice cake for 30 minutes before eating.

I cringed so hard at that.... Feels useless to keep policing my own plastic waste when apparently there are places where they just sell ready-whipped cream in 70g plastic boxes? Why??????

Yes, is a double morality. Asian countries with their policy of cleanliness are the ones who uses most plastic than everyone 🥲. They wrap single potatoes in plastic, and every fruit and vegetable, one by one in plastic films.

Things I learned from making this: -It tastes great! I want to make it again. -DON'T overcook the mochi! It becomes too tough and resistant to spread out for a nice ball. I settled for mochi dumplings XD -I put a tablespoon of honey in the yogurt and that was tasty. Thank you for the recipe 🙏

Is it possible to use regular milk mixed with fresh or frozen strawberry? I don't trust supermarket strawberry milk. Unfortunately in our small Portuguese town there are no Asian food stores, I can't wait for the next trip to Lisbon😂

딸기 우유떡이 첫 눈에 보아도 굉장히 맜있어서 넘쳐 흐를 것 같은 비쥬얼입니다. 정말이지 굉장히 맜있을 수 밖에 없는 조합이라 생각합니다. 또한 취향에 따라서 냉동실에서 잠시 얼리면 정말이지 엄청나게 맜있는 찹쌀떡 아이스크림까지 완벽합니다.
제가 제일 사랑하는 딸기크림 찹쌀떡인데 ㅠㅠ 이렇게 레시피를 올려주시니 너무 행복합니다😍❤️ 항상 궁금한게 생기면 적어주신 TIP부터 보는데, 딱 궁금했던 것들이 있어서 소름이에요 ㅎㅎ 많이 쌀쌀해졌는데 건강조심하시고 맛있는 요리 많이 알려주세요~!! :D
