agh this is so cute i can’t wait to make a bag out of these!! i was wondering about how long it took you to make one individual square? i’m trying to figure out how long it will take me to make one bag
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t take us too long but we have the square memorized. We normally mix it with regular granny squares with the same stitch count to do big projects. You can see some on our insta or Tiktok we’ve done

depends on your own pace i think!! i can take 1 hour if i want it to be perfect! really depends
This pattern is really intimidating at first but after you do it once you can master it on the second try. I can already make it from memory!
this is so helpful !!!! do you know how you would do a triangle/half granny square with the strawberries????
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
The strawberry granny stitch could be used in place of any single granny stitch. So it would just depend on where you want the strawberries 🥰
I found you from TicTok

Yay!!!! Yes! We are here thanks for joining our madness! 😍😍
Hello, are we allowed to sell things made with this pattern? thanks
If you were to turn these squares into a blanket, what variations would you do? Some solid granny squares of white, red and green? White with red trim, white with strawberry trim, green with strawberries? I need to know!!! I'm going to make a baby-blanket for a friend and was trying to decide what pattern to use - I'd love to incorporate this square!
@misseverleedesigns
Жыл бұрын
We’ve done all kinds of variations but yes for a blanket some solid squares would be good, just do a normal granny stitch in place of the strawberries 🥰
saw your tiktok and did this project with blue string instead of red (blueberry’s 🥰)

That’s fun! If you post it on any socials tag us so we can see!!! 😍
I love this tut but I’m really confused at the part where it says chain two then flip the granny square. Would you mind explaining how? It’s totally fine if not though!
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
Oh ok. I see how you got confused there. I should have said “rotate” cause ch2 is the corner
Hey this is an amazing pattern and design! I just had a question because I’m struggling. So on the third row when we go into each Conner and middle and do a granny stitch we are supposed to do three correct? Because when I did three (3dc ch2) by the end of the row it looked like a hexagon not a square?
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
Yes 3!
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
Ok to clarify, there is 3 double crochets in each granny stitch, and there is 3 granny stitches on each side of the third row. You can extend it to a bigger granny square too! We’ve made some really big ones!
I saw ur tiktok and found this.Im going to make a baby blanket.

😉 thanks! 🥰🥰
is there anyway i could crochet these strawberries into a blanket? newbie here lol
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
Yep, the strawberry along takes up one stitch count, normally best with double crochets or something of similar height around it
How do u hide your excess red and green yarn?
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
Tie it into the back of the strawberry, and drag the yarn behind the previous row if you pull across🥰
This is too cute! I’ve gotta us this for something. 🤔 thank you!

Can i do this same pattern but with yellow to make a lemon?
@misseverleedesigns

Lemon doesn’t normally have as many leaves but give it a try and let us know how it goes!
are we meant to cut the ends when we completed each strawberries?
@misseverleedesigns
2 жыл бұрын
You can, we drag it across. I’ve done it both ways. Just more ends to tie if you cut each one individually

i did this abd mine looks like tomatoes even after cinching TT
@misseverleedesigns

Oh no!!!! I’m assuming you mean round by tomatoes 🍅 maybe try doing less double crochets? Your tension maybe different or the yarn might contribute. Hope that helps
row 1. mr, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ss (should make something resembling a square) row 2. ch 3, 3 dc into next space (corner hole thing), ch 2, dc (in same space), pull in red yarn and popcorn stitch (5 dc (still in the same space), remove hook and sorta slip stitch the last dc and first dc with the green yarn), pull up 5 loops, pull through all 5, pull through white yarn, dc (still in the same hole); repeat process for other holes (don't chain between!), ss into 2nd stitch of the ch 3 at the start of the row ykw just watch the video atp shi is too confusing row 3. ch 3, 2 dc, [3 dc, ch2, 3 dc, 3dc] x3/just finish just like you would any other granny square, go around the strawberries (if that makes sense), ss into 2nd stitch at start of row row 4. ch 1, sc the border, sc, ch 2, sc for corners, ss, fo weave in ends
