Hello y'all! I've written out the pattern with the corrections so everyone can have a good chance! (Only thing is, I could only figure out the numbers for how to do it for 6 strawberries in the circle) 1. (White) Make a magic ring, chain (ch) 3 2. 13 dc into the ring, slip stitch into the 3rd ch stitch 3. Chain 4, 1 dc into the same stitch, skip 1 stitch, 1dc, ch1, 1dc into the next stitch, skip 1 stitch, skip stitch, dc into the next stitch, ch1, dc in the next stitch, (rpt). Slip stitch into the chain, cut yarn 4. (Red) join the 2nd color into any ch space, 4dc into the same ch space, ch2, 4dc into the next ch space, ch2, 4dc into the next ch space, (rpt), slip stitch into the 1st dc, cut the yarn. 5.(Green) Join the 3rd color, join 4 stitches together, ch4, join 4 stitches together, ch4, (rpt), slip stitch into the 1st together stitch, cut yarn. 6. (White) Join the 1st color, 1 sc into space between strawberries, 1sc into the ch space, 2hdc into the dc, 1sc into the ch space, 2sc in the space between strawberries, 1sc into the chain space, 2hdc into the dc, 1sc into the chain space, 2 sc in the between strawberry space, (rpt). 1 sc, slip stitch into the 1st single. 7. Ch 3, 1dc, ch2, 2dc into the same stitch, 1dc into the next 2 stitches, 1hdc into the next stitch, 1sc into the next 4 stitches, 1hdc into the next stitch, 1dc into the next 2 stitches, 2dc, ch2, 2dc into the same stitch, (rpt). Slip stitch into the chain 3. 8. Ch 4, skip 1 stitch, 2dc, ch2, 2dc into the corner chain space, ch1, skip 1 stitch, 1 dc into the next stitch, ch 1, skip 1 stitch, 1dc into the next stitch (rpt until corners), slip stitch into the chain, cut the yarn. She says to double crochet in the next stitch after the chain 1 but she’s actually double crocheting in the same stitch, making a v-stitch. The instructions on screen should read to skip a stitch, double crochet in the next stitch, chain 1 then double crochet again in the same stitch

This square has become incredibly popular in one Finnish crochet group. I'd like to ask for a permission to translate the written instructions on the top left corner to Finnish. So many people here want to make this, but are unable to because they have difficulties with the English language and just following a video. All credits would, of course, go to you and this video would be linked in the file.

I wish the instructions were written with visuals that I could print. I have slowed the video down and still some of the angles on the last row I can't seem to get right. Any tips would be appreciated.

Are there any errors with the written text instructions? Because some of these don't really make sense.

two that i can tell. took me 3 tries to figure out why i got 9 strawberries instead of 8 like she had, in the 1st round you need to do 13 double crochets instead of 15 like it says. second one is the 2nd round. she says to dc, chain 1 and dc into the next stitch but what she does is dc, chain 1 and dc again in the same stitch! once i did those corrections it turned out like it should!

I got 6😭😭😭

On row 6 is where I spot a problem - following the instructions to the T, I end up with 40 sts at the end of row 5. That being said, row 6 should be: Corner = (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in the same st Corner, dc, hdc, 5 sc, hdc, dc, repeat till end of round

At the end of row 5 there should be 48 stitches. First should be 1 sc into the top of the strawberry, next is 1 sc, 2 half dc, 1 sc into the same chain space, then, 2 sc into the top of the strawberry, 1 sc, 2 half dc, 1 sc. Repeat and it should be at 48 stitches. Row 6 should be chain 3, 1 dc, chain 2, 2 dc into the same stitch, 1 dc into the next 2 stitches, 1 half dc into the next stitch, 1 sc into the next 5 stitches, 1 half dc into the next stitch, 1 dc into the next 2 stitches, 2 dc, chain 2, 2 dc into the next stitch and Repeat.

not a very well done tutorial 😢
