Thank you so much for your kindness and for this tutorial ! 🙏🏻♥️
Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to make granny squares like my mom and grandma. They were so fast! It felt like within a few minutes they'd have an adorable lacy square perfect for a Barbie doll. I always wanted to learn how they did it. This tutorial was so helpful and so clear. I've made 6 already!

You explain each stitch so well! I'm a beginner crocheter (I can do all the basic stitches in straight lines) so squares are new to me, you made this really easy to understand. Thank you so much! I'm gonna make a granny square sweater!

Hello! I’m still a beginner at crocheting and I just finished making this! Your instructions were so incredibly clear and easy to follow through. I was doubting myself at times because some of my stitches were not as clean as yours, but I kept trusting the process and sure enough, it turned out absolutely lovely! It looks super cute and I’m really proud cause it’s not too bad for a first try. Thank you so much for the video, I hope to try out more of your patterns soon 💗
Thank u so much this was so easy to follow and not get lost like many tutorials
Thank you ! We had so much fun doing this granny my mom and I. We are in a middle of an eat wave and we can't go out as normal... Kisses from France !
I love this so much, I thought it was going to be super duper easy but I keep getting stuck on the 3rd row of the strawberry but I finally figured it out now I have the cutest coaster ever!!!❤️✨🍓THANK YOU🍓✨❤️ Your tutorial was so helpful. I even learned how to make a magic circle.
Thank you so much! It’s really cute. Your descriptions are so helpful!
This was initially a little confusing as I followed just the written pattern but once I figured it out its so pretty! Mine turned out just like this even though I used a 5mm since I didn't have 4.5 - I may try 4mm next to see if that's better. I'm going to use this granny square to make a sling bag!

Ive made 4 of these now, and I've found to get a more full, cartoony 3-leaf look for the leaves I get to the end of the sl st's, and then I hdc 1 in the first sl st, sl st in the next, then tripple crochet 2, sl st, hdc 1, sl st and tie off.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31 KJV

Btw guys, if you find it hard to make the square around it, you can also just make the strawberry, and sow it onto a regular granny square. It's a little more messy, but easier if you're a beginner.

hi! i wanted to turn this as a bucket hat, is it gonna be different for the top of the bucket hat?
@RaffamusaDesigns
10 ай бұрын
Hi, that's totally up to you. Since these squares are smallish (4", 10 cm), you might need to use more than just 4, unless you add more rounds until you get to the size that you need... Anyhow, for the top of the hat, you can do any shape... if you'd like to take a look, I have an example of a bucket hat (using different granny squares and a different yarn weight) here raffamusadesigns.com/crochet-dot-square-bucket-hat/

Hi, if you use Aran weight yarn a 4.5 or 5 mm hook, you'll get 4" (10 cm) squares. So, for a 40" blanket, you'd need 100 squares.

26:49 how can i close it?
I don’t get how she did the seeds, do you embroider one and then cut the string to embroider the next? Or do you just use the same piece of string and have a mess on the back of the square? Because it looks like she used one strand without cutting it but the back looked the exact same as the front - I can’t really tell though because of all the time cuts in that section of the video
@RaffamusaDesigns
2 ай бұрын
Hi, sure, I just used one string of yarn. If you want it "clean" on the back, instead of jumping to the next seed, you could draw the yarn through the back of the sts in a similar way as for weaving in your ends. Just pay attention that the white yarn doesn't show on the right side :)

How to do a granny granny square without strawberry in the middle?
@RaffamusaDesigns
Жыл бұрын
Hi, you can find the video tutorial here kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYuIupOTXZmbidY.html
I love this video!! I’m already making a lot of squares for a project, however, I THINK (IDK SORRY), there’s a mistake in the written notes, or at least it might be confusing. For example, round 2 of the strawberry says: “Ch1, 2 sc,” and so chained one and then I did 2 sc in the same stitch but I think it’s “1sc, 1sc” right? 🤨
@RaffamusaDesigns
5 ай бұрын
Hi, it should be written somewhere in the pattern notes (just below the material & abbreviation sections). - Sc 2 means that you have to crochet 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts - increases (for example 2 hdc in the same st) are called inc (sc inc, hdc inc, dc inc, etc) - Set of sts that should be made all in the same st are enclosed by [...]. For example, [hdc 1, sc 1] - Repeats are enclosed by (...) :)
