Did they do surgery and based on his glasses or without the glasses?

I have double exptopia. I believe it causes my headaches that happen almost everyday. At least lately and in the past. I had a two year break from headaches, but they are back. Would blue light glasses help? Or what do you recommend? I’d rather not have surgeries. 😂

Glad that u watched the video . So I would recommend getting prisms in your lenses and see if that helps with diplopia and headaches. How old are u ?

Hi Dr. Fatima. I have exotropia in my left eye, along with blurry vision in that eye caused by glaucoma. Do you think that if I correct the exotropia, it will decrease the blurry vision?

Hi . Thanks for watching the video . Exotropia is something that can cause double vision and it depends on how old you are for me to recommend surgery. However , in my opinion you should seek help from your eye doctor to see if he /she can prescribe prisms in case ur having diplopia and for blurry vision glasses usually help . I need to know your entire history . Such as , type of glaucoma , stage of glaucoma etc .

Hello. You need to be seen by an eye specialist for prescribing prisms for any kind of Diplopia. But first , cause of diplopia should be ruled out . Is it suddenly onset ? Or gradual ? I have exotropia in my left eye and it's vision is also blur. I took online video consultation with a doctor and he told me that if I use prism glasses so my both eyes will look straight. Kindly tell me is he right that if I use prism for left eye in glasses so my eyes will look straight or not?

Hi , yes prisms can work for strabismus . If you have diplopia or double vision ,then it’s worth getting you tested for prisms

@@dr.fatimaqureshi9803 i don't have any double vision problem. I just have exotropia in my left eye and the vision is also low in my left eye. So do you agree that wearing prism glasses can make my eyes look straight and also please let me know that can this be the permanent solution for lifetime? And who can make prism glasses like can a normal glasses shop make prism glasses?

Depends . Varies from person to person. It’s the muscles in the eyes that were operated on . Pls get your eyes checked after at least 3-6 months of surgery and see how your diploma is healing . You’ll have to get a binocular work up done by your doctor . Double vision could be due to muscle problems , nerve palsy etc . Thanks for watching . Don’t forget to subacute :)
