I happened onto your videos a few months back and truely fell in love with them they began to bring me joy at first than peace, in a world of such ugliness and turmoil it was reshing. My daughter & her son have really gotten me interested in Homesteading videos. I started out with them watching Big Family Homestead & then I found you & Elizabeth. We cut the cord on cable & landline phone over a month ago so we only stream now. I have been watching nothing but you & Elizabeth for the past 3 days. I love you guys! I found Elizabeth's Tea with Jesus yesterday & have started joining her of the morning. I love watching the Thrive life videos & am interested in trying it when I can afford to. I live with my daughter & her 2 sons (20 & 23). My grandson (13) moved in with us almost 2yrs ago. He is my stepdaughters son & she isn't in his life. My grandsons all have some form of autism & other health problems that keep them from working, My daughter is caretaker for all of us. I have had medical problems since a gastric bypass in 2008 & now have a loop recorder implanted for my heart as of a month ago. I have a FB page called 'My Journey To Wellness" where I have talked about my journey after I was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2013. It was called MY Journey With Alzheimers then. I went to a new Neuro in 2015 & the diagnosis was changed to Mild Cognitive Impairment. Sorry so long. I wanted to let you now how much your videos mean to me.God Bless you both.

Nothing sweeter than a child who smiles all the time!! I have 2 step- grands, the older (5) is more serious but his 2 1/2 year old brother is smiling all the time. My first daughter, Michelle, was born at the Air Force Base in Cheyenne in 1967. It is a good place to be stationed. My Sunday School teacher took me to the hospital and stayed all through the birth. Great memories in Wyoming. Thanks for the opportunity to sit here and smile along with you.

Hello my name is Elizabeth. I too have a sister named, Dana ! Dana is 15 months older than I am. We are "Air Force Brats" We lived in Naples Italy 1974-77. We lost our brother Robert, ( 19 months younger than me) 7 months after our mothers' death ( April 11 2015). My mother was a nurse. Her mother, my granny, was very tan ; ) Native American My only child, now age 28 is an Eagle Scout. We were a camping family! I am a proud Navy Mom since 2009. My favorite color is any shade of purple. I love the Lord and nature. The Lord is helping me downsize ( simplify) my 55 years of treasures. I am fascinated by Tiny House living and prepping! We have much in common... Yet I am NOT musically inclined. I make a joyful noise~ cuz I can't carry a tune in a bucket 😃 I like to crochet and would like to know more about quilting. Linda Luke hi Linda. I was a mortgage broker in 2008 when my company folded. I came very close to losing my house. I had a heart attack 5 days after my unemployment ended. I have a blood disorder that I was born with that started giving me serious trouble a year after that. From being a savvy businesswoman the babysitting to make ends meet I live on my own. Just when I was within weeks of my house being foreclosed disability finally approve me and even gave me retroactive money so I could catch up on my mortgage I also was able to get a grant to help so I wouldn't lose my house. The point of my story is when things were the worst God found an answer for me he made a way when there was no way I had no one to lean on except him. I feel very blessed.

Great Lakes Gelatin has been able to diminish excess phosphorous from proteins while providing excellent protein. The Hydrolysed form is excellent and easy to use because it dissolves in any temperature of liquid. The main benefit is it's ability to assist in reviewing bone tissue.

I watched your video about your new RV and story. My wife and I will hit the road in a reduced pension from my wife who worked 32 years. When I grew up my father was a mine supervisor that developed lung disease so we lost everything over the next 2 years. In 2006 my wife was injured at work so she was not paid as they said she did it at home ?? and we lost 50% of everything. In 2011 my job was downsized and I developed a brain issue so I can't work anymore. The one thing I saw in you was this sadness about leaving on our partners shoulders as they get tired . I feel a guilt and sadness so I just focus on retirement in 2019 and I know that when my wife can rest and relax from her hard work and care of her 85 year old mom at the nursing home.

Hi Elizabeth, So interesting to learn that you lived in Colorado Springs for some time! Our daughter is an ER nurse there. Her husband is a veteran having served 14 years with 7 deployments. We're from Michigan and fly to Colorado a couple times a year to visit them and our 2 year old grandson. We really enjoyed seeing the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and going through the Dragon Man Museum. The museum is a personal collection of world war memorabilia with replicas of service people in their uniforms during the World Wars, armory, equipment, etc. Thanks for sharing some of your life history with us!

I love the sweet scent of petunias. There were only 69 kids in my graduating class. It was a Catholic school and we started off with 103 kids and the others transferred to public schools in the area. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I lived 23 years in Gilbert, Az. We had irrigation for our horse pasture and orange/grapefruit orchard. When I grew up in Southern California, I was a member of a water ballet club and was always swimming! Our family camped in the Sierra's and I taught my husband and both sons how to camp and fish in the White mountains. I played and composed music on the piano and sang and played my guitar. I loved my church and Bible study.. I helped my husband get his membership in the Choctaw tribe. He is also Cherokee and Chickasaw. Our lives have paralleled in many ways ! More later. Sister Jay
