LisaMarieBG121616 W.G. I love that you have 3 boys so do I except when my youngest was 13 God gave me a daughter and that turn my world around in a good way. How are you doing as a mom with your son's? I pray that all goes well and that God meets the need you have and gives you strength in the days you feel weary as a single mom. Most of the last 20 years I did things mostly as a single mom even though part of that I was married but then my husband chose to go into the wilderness as I call it and he made things final 7 years ago. So here's hugs and to an amazing day from one single mom to another

Congratulations on your new mobile cabin hehe. Yes it is wonderful to be debt free. I had to buy a new car (2017) last one 22 years ago my hubby said it was time. Went in with my brown bag and paid cash I try to work on saving and be thrifty but n it's still hard to save Every thing is so expensive. Getting ready for my Thrive haul. Happy Holidays. LisaMarie, I was a single Mom of 3 boys after my divorce, as well. What a challenge, but we all 4 survived ! I am 68 now, & they have their own families & are all blessings. You will continually be bless by this wonderful couple. I wish when I was raising my 3 boys by myself, I would have had some one like these 2 beautiful people for encouragement & wisdom !

Two are married with children, one is heading off to college, and the two younger ones have a lot more years left in the nest. Bill & Elisabeth, maybe this could double as guest quarters when grand children come to visit?

I am so happy for you two. It is wonderful that it is working out for you. It couldn't have happen to more deserving people. God is so good.

I have also discovered the same lifestyle. I no longer am living paycheck to paycheck. It is the best feeling in the World. What an amazing sense of freedom. the shed build was amazing!!!!!!!!

I really like that floor plan! That, and the fact that the sleeping areas fold up for travel, so you haven't really sacrificed anything! Well deserved and earned. Have been with you both since first video and after the 1st video of Tea with Jesus , I asked for it to be in the Bible Study format it is today. To say my family and I have learned a lot is an understatement. We live well below our income, we follow our budget sheets, no credit cards," if it can't be bought with cash then we leave it right where its at" (our saying), and so much more. We started this change in our very early 30's and now at our mid 40's, we are very blessed to have the ability to be owners and retired from working our jobs and enjoy our passion/non profit careers, writing books, traveling etc (we will never retire from that lol). May God continue to bless you both as you bless others.

Remember to get a folding ladder so every time you go to close the slide out to clean the top off the slide out roof so the leaves and sticks do not tear the seals of the slide out .

Very excited for you!! Your little cottage is lovely! I turned 60 2 weeks ago and retired in March, thanks to my husbands careful planning and a little sacrifice over the years we are debt free. It has made retirement possible for us both and it is such a good feeling! We have a classA motor home and we have been able to take some good trips this past summer. Elizabeth, I agree that a home base is very important and your little home is very cozy and comfy!

At least if your kids live far away this will help that you can go see them ☺

Hi Bill and Elizabeth! We raised 7 kids on very little money and are debt free, owning our own house. I give thanks to God for no debt. My husband is retiring next year and I would love to get a camper and do some traveling. He is not too sure; it would have to be a great bargain on a smallish camper, plus something to pull it! found your channel last year when I was recovering from a back injury. we always wanted to live off the land and turn our small rv into a tiny home...didnt really no how to go about it until we found your channel. we are emptynesters with 6 dogs and have decided to put up vlogs again to show our progress...thanks for all the great videos!

Sweet dude!! I am a “tramping”journeyman lineman and my wife and I have 4 kids and we live in our 45’ cyclone toy hauler and we move all over the country. We spent our last winter in Roscoe Montana! It was awesome! We’re going to install a cubic mini cub this next winter to keep propane costs down!

You will love the rv life style. After I retired from teaching, my husband and I bought a small class A which we spend eight to ten months a year traveling. Like Elizabeth I prefer to be on the farm during the winter. We have put 20,000 miles in our trips in the eighteen months we have had the rv. Love it!!

With your new cottage..there’s plenty of room if you have overnight guests..in fact, you could hook up your travel trailer when your kids visit and use it like a guest cottage! There are so many pluses to your cottage!
