stepFilter is amazing.
The problem we have today is that we have way too many options. The temptation of distraction is nearly impossible to avoid. The overall quality is so high in software. With dedication at focus great songs can be made with nearly any VI synth, a pair of effects and the DAW. Thank you for putting this out. I think it would be great for many new artist to see you make a song from start to finish with just one instrument in Cubase.

this is true, you go from wanting to create music to collecting plugins you don't use much. I think as both a Cubase and Ableton user, I end up in the latter a lot because there is no GUI distraction just unified tools that work, however, that's just DAW preferences yet again, all functions are the same in each, record, modify and send out the speakers, with options to do that, the main trick to watch out for is an emulation of very old hardware no one has ever used, so no point of reference, Cubase channel strips and built-in effects processing and tools does everything you would want, Dom points out some goodies above, Cubase built-in sampler as an actual instrument is a really great way to build up interesting things off resampling recordings of yourself or sound design elements, be great if they implemented a synth that has all the features you would need like that, but yeah, its like walking into a warehouse these days with 1000 variations of the same thing, so i can relate to that need for simplicity and consolidated tool sets so you don't end up lost for years.

ModMachine video would be fantastic .
mod delay is crazy! a video about it would be great!
Please Make a video about "MODMachine" (most important) and if you can also about the stepfilter ! Thank you for your content !!
I spend money on third-party plugins but usually come back to the stock plugins for their low latency and reliability. Thank you for featuring them!
1:52 yes please, Dom! Thank you :)
I use Test Generator all the time to reinforce or add fundamentals to kicks and snares! Sometimes I just love the character or vibe of a drum sound I'm working with, but I can't get it to hit the way I want. I'll put an instance of Test Generator on a group track with a gate immediately after, then trigger the sidechain on the gate with the kick or snare I want to reinforce. I set Test Generator to a general starting frequency (~65 Hz for kicks, ~200 Hz for snares) and play around with the frequency until I'm getting the right "thump" I'm looking for. Sine wave tends to sound the most transparent, but you can get wild results by playing around with different wave shapes. All that's left after that is to blend to taste and presto!
Absolutely killing it with these Cubase stock plugin videos lately! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I really do love sentences like „get to know Your stuff“. Thank You Dom😀
Give mod machine Dom!!!
All of the above tutorials please. Thank you again for great Cubase content!
well i am one of the people not using this kind of plugins tbh... i have used and tried other daws in the past.. and recently decided to switch to cubase... no matter what for cubase i have say only one thing... "no matter if the learning curve might be harder than some other daws, all the stock plugins i have used are really great, have nothing to be jealous from premium stuff....and cubase on it's own is really an excellent all around DAW"
Cubase has soooo many good plugins, it's almost overwhelming to get to know them all and understand how to use them.
Another great video, Dom! Yet again making me feel bad for having bought SO many third party plugins unnecessarily.😢 Hopefully I am cured now, trying to remember how much is already included in my Cubase 12 Pro. And yes, please, videos on the filter and the mod!

I would never feel bad for having an extra tool in my Arsenal :) but yes, at least don’t have duplicates of what Cubase already has ❤️
Still use and LOVE cubase stock compressor. The fact that I can dial anywhere inbetween peak and rms is awesome and, oddly, not a feature I've found in other 3rd party comps. If there is one, atleast cubases comp puts it at the forefront.
Wow thanks for the heads up !!
So great to get reminded of what is already there in cubase!!
Yes please that would be great to do a review of Modmachine and Stepfilter!😊
Thank you!! great tools
Heh - a few forgotten ones in there. Multitap delay is perhaps a bit too new to already be forgotten, but the others are spot on!
Inspiring as always :)
Great video!
At 2:35, just add a dope snare, kick and hi hat! You got yourself a hard hitting hip hop beat😁🤟🏽. Great vid Dom👌🏾💯🔥
Great video & enjoyed seeing Dom enjoy showcasing them!
Another great video that is very helpful. Thanks Dom!
Really great video Dom keep going to inform us. Big thank's...😎
Excellent video. Very informative. Thank you.
Consistantly great and useful info! Thanks Dom!
Thank you Dom
Great Dom, thanls for the content. Great Cubase too.
Loved the delays, thanks man!
Great video, very informative. Thanks Dom!
Hey Dom!!! Keep it on! Thanks for all these great and interesting videos!
👉The SQUASHER is another that requires some studying and experiencing, but once you understand how and what it does, it ROCKS!! I have Steven Slate drums and use the SQUASHER on all the separate samples with a little saturation...beats anything else for me and I'm a great one for channel strips!! Dom is The Don⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You are so inspiring Dom 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes a review please !! 🙌🏽
your enthusiasm is way cool, Dom! thanks for all you do!
Haha that ponum during the step filter😆 Can’t wait for Dom to do a dedicated video 😄
My mind is pretty blown. I'm still running a very old Artist v 8 and even just having access to these updated stock plugins in 12 makes the upgrade to Pro all the more compelling, now Steinberg have sent me a discounted price. I'd definitely be interested in seeing videos dedicated to each of these (noting you already did the multitap delay). Thank you for opening our eyes to what's in front of us.
I just discovered this step filter last week. So cool!! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to get back into it.
I really appreciate these videos!

Thanks Dom for all your help with Steinberg music software
Fantastic Dom! Great Vid! I use the env shaper very often. All these plugins look freaking amazing
Another great and super helpful video!! Please do videos on mod and step filter!
thanks for this vid. I use a lot of the stock plugins all the time.
Thanks for a video, Cloner is amazing!
I am definitely interested
Thanks for your vids! It’s probably been 30 years since I last knew all the features, and I rely on you, bro, to keep me up to date.
Oh my!! I’ve used the multi delay but seeing how you use it so sparingly is so effective!! Love to see more on the mod machine. These are so great. Thanks much.
fantastic video, thank you so much, that was really interesting, it would be great to see more detailed videos about the mod machine and step filter from you!!
Yes Please need dedicated review of those beautiful stock pkugins inside cubase!
The step filter is super fun. Great on distorted guitar. A really creative plugin. An in-depth video would be great. Thanks for the videos Dom. And that tap delay sounds like a lot of fun.
Thank you Dom! Your enthusiasm and thoroughness is greatly appreciated!

Learnt a TON just from this. Please, please PLEASE make a dedicated video for all of these. Thank you again Dom!
Modmachine video definitely! 🙌✌️
Would love a video on all of them, but especially Mod Machine!
your tutorials are gold ,explanation is so nice and simple Thank you Dom very much for sharing your knowledge with us :) btw it would be fun to see you produce trap or hiphop beat just a thought
I can't stop listening to the "from sine wave, triangle, square, sawtooth" being at the same key as the frequency played. Dom u a genius bruh
I agree!! Usually artists are a little bit lazy and they don't want to wait to learn which it will not take too much time
I love the envelope shaper. I use it on a lot on snares.
That is amazing. I would love a dedicated video to all of them. Incredible! Cubase is really amazing, i had no ideea about this plugins :|
Yes on the mod machine video!
First two plugins definetely worth to be reviewed by u. Thanks for a content🎉
Great video. Just watching this is giving me some ideas. I'd like to see more in depth content for SF and MM.
just a small act of appreciation for inspiring and creative work. All the best furthermore!
Hello. Thanks to show us that we are richer than we think we are. Dedicated tutos on these plugins would be very nice. Thanks Dom !
I really appreciate these videos! I’m new to Nuendo, switching from protools, since October so I’m always watching your cubase videos. I haven’t dived into the stock plug-ins since I already own lots of 3rd party ones. But the stepper and envelop shaper are two that I needed. The Cloner is also something I’d love to mess around with. Great value on this one!

Hi Dom, thanks for another great video. I would love to see you more in depth video about Mod Machine,. Thank you
As always so well presented... and I hoped Dom will show the envelope shaper - and he did :) In DAW comparisons online Cubase is sometimes stated as quite expensive. But the opposite is the case - so many of the included stock plugins can rival with famous 3rd party plugins... not to forget that is has a bunch of useful MIDI plugins as well...
I fully agree with the potential of Cubase plugins and the need to know them better before buying other third-party ones
Wonderful contemt as always sir😊 Please do a Video on the Mod Machine pls
I'm amazed how much Cubase can do and I had no idea. Keep these videos coming. Thank you Dom.
I love step filter. I really miss some of the Cubase stuff that they removed in Cubase 12 like the great old instrument LoopMash.
Nice video, thanks! I think the stepfilter could be really a killer plugin for me if they would add few LFOs and the appropriate UI, similar to how Vitals synth handle LFO.
Thank you Dom, I would be very interested in insight review of Step filter and modmachine. Many thanks and long life to your channel !
I just see the smile on your face and it makes me switch on my Cubase, just to become happy like you. Thank you so much! 🥰
Hey Dom, hell yes.....please do seperate videos on ALL of them....
Yes yes yes please Dom! Please make videos of these amazing stock plugins. Only you explore these tools to the full making them so much more fun, useful and practical for us lesser producers! Thanks for your valuable videos!
Great video Dom, thank you! I’ll +1 for ModMachine and StepFilter. Been using Logic lately but every time I watch your videos I tell myself I need go back and give Cubase some love. Next song for sure after watching this.
I frequently use step filter on reverbed sounds or arps to create really musical stutter-like fx. Really is a killer plugin, massively underrated.
OFC we are interested in this plugins, Mod machine plz!. Your videos are gold, I love you too Dom ! xD
We need dedicated videos for those plugin, they seem very powerful. Nice video btw !
Thanks!
You always on the point dom that's what i like about this channel thankyou ❤😊 Love from India ❣️🇮🇳
Hey Dom , I vote for an In depth video for All these plugins. Except for the ones you've already done a video for. They really are Powerhouses in there on right.
Please do a review of these plugins in detail. A gem of a video. Thank you for doing this.
It would be so great if you made a video about all the plugins, it would be so helpful.🙏🙏🙏 I know that you are one of the best who can do it. Thanks
I have No idea where you find the time or remember all of this info .. many thanks as I had forgot a few of these stocks ...I take my hat off to you always a GREAT help.
Wow thanks for this video. PLEASE do a video on the MODMACHINE
yes....more videos for cubase plugins.......🎸
Dedicated video and tutorial on these plug ins please Dom lol 😂 love ya peace ☮️
LOVED this video. I'm a looong time Cubase user and I've never even laid my eyes/ears on cloner. Microshift just got a serious contender! Thanks Dom!
Very useful video as always. Would love to see videos going into more depth for the plugins featured. I’ll check out the delay video. Been using your Modern80s Drums recently. Really nice kit. Thank you.

Super! Danke
I primarily produce Pop Country, Pop, Rock, Blues, and Metal from time to time. I could hear inspiration and ideas with each of the plug-ins within this video. I would love to see more on ModMachine, StepFilter, etc. I have also been finding myself using more of the stock drums in Groove Agent over some of my third party plug-ins. I even blend kits. Now if I could get my Roland EDrum kit to sync with Groove Agent life would be great.
