Usually when there's a fallen brother's ceremony, you have half of the room present be military uniforms and the other half be public services such as police officers. But that day, half the room present was people in airmen uniforms. What a surprise I didn't see the other half be police officers . Speaks volumes.

There's been no indication the person was having struggles and suicidal. Think the guy had his gun wondering who the hell was beating down his door for no good reason.

@@seunosho4946 you’re right. It SHOULD be that way but it’s never been that way for black Americans. Unfortunately, they, white Americans, have no idea that this has been going on for centuries. But they sure can tell us how “wrong” we are. Therefore, silence is violence and as long as those who are unaffected continue to believe that they got the right to tell the affected they are wrong, it will continue.

This is a travesty. Not right.

I'm really proud of the USAF and ALL those serving the country. Justice for Roger Fortson...

I had been critical of the DOD and Air Force as the police chief was holding PR stunts trying to cover for the killer but this was quite moving and I appreciate the Air Force for showing up in force to lay this young man to rest.

That was a beautiful service. Many beautiful things said about that young man. He dedicated his life to defend our country only to come home and be killed by the enemy on our own soil. God be with his family and relieve the pain in their hearts and to always keep his memory in their hearts and minds.

That sheriff saw his gun and decided to shoot even though Fortson's gun was not aimed. This wis a problem for the Sheriffs. That woman who said the action was heard from that room- I wonder if she heard the television. I bet you that woman has disappeared

Most people aren't aware it was the German police behind all those round ups of German Citizens even the Aryan's who did not agree with Them and their movement! Part of the reason is Himmlech Himmler He took control of The Police Force/& The Guards at The Concentration Camp's. If any negative reports came out about the treatment of people's in those camps Himmler simply shuffled them around and sent them off to other post. It called Himmler not being able to own The Intelligence Agencies in Nazi Germany that was ran by some other dude. I will cite references Rise of The Nazi's produced by BBC! Did you watch the footage from the shooting by any chance? You do realize that the officer knocked and identified himself as a sheriff several times, right? In what world does it make sense to answer the door with a handgun after someone has identified themselves as a police officer? Like, honestly think about the situation. If it were a black cop and a white tenant, would it be ok for the tenant to answer the door with a gun? What about an asian cop and asian tenant? Purple cop, cyan tenant? You're adding color to a situation where color doesn't matter - don't open the door when a police officer is knocking with a gun in your hand. Color doesn't matter. I don't mean to dismiss the fact that skin color makes a difference in some police interactions. It absolutely does, and there are many, well-documented cases where a black man died unlawfully because of a police officer's bias. But any reasonably person reviewing the body came footage in this situation should recognize that this isn't a cut and dry police murder case.
