I am noticing that not only this thing can do more than the other loops in the market, but it is more simple too. It's ridiculous how easy to change stuff and understand what's happening. Great product. I am sad for the other competitors.

Sticky stomp! I feel heard, haha! Yes! I actually wrote you guys about wanting this feature many moons ago.

Had an idea for stomp box mode this morning for a future software update, assuming that is possible. :) Idea: momentary pass through. If someone holds their foot on a button longer than a quick press (say 300ms, for example), the effect would be enabled only for the duration of the press. Again, love, love, LOVE sticky!

These things you just gotta dive in and try your hardest to get ahold of the basics. It will take several hours but once you get the basics down, you can slowly learn more as you go along

Hi there Daniel I have a G2 will that do the same thing? I am having a hard finding in depth videos like this about the G2, unless I just haven't found many yet lol.. Love the G2 great product.

Really worth every penny! Question: If my Preset 1 in Bank 1 has a Delay from the Strymon Timeline and I would like to copy the whole preset (means the G3 settings of Loops, Gains AND the Strymon Delay from this preset) to Preset 1 in Bank 2, is there a simple copy function or do I have to set all parameters (gains, which loops active, etc.) manually on the new preset? Thanks for your help.

Does Stompbox mode apply to all banks once it's engaged or is it possible to have, let's say one bank which is stomp box mode for all the loops and another bank for presets? Thanks!

My G3 just arrived yesterday! So far, I'm blown away. You've mentioned that the Tuner/Aux Out has a TRS return, where is that in the signal chain? Before loop 1? Can it be moved?

Wow - what a great system! Regarding the StompBox Mode: does the number of stored presets in a bank reduce by the same number of switches assigned to stompbox mode? For example, there are 14 switches. With no stompbox mode I can have 14 presets in that bank. If I assign one switch to stompbox mode, does that mean I now have 13 presets available and 1 stompbox switch in that bank? Or if a switch is assigned as stompbox mode, can that switch double as a preset and stompbox switch? Thanks!

Hi, yes, that’s right, each preset can be either a preset or a stomp box. Each preset can also have a hidden preset so you could have up to 28 standard presets per bank

Dan if I’m normally running time based effect through my effects loop ,can I use this?

Is there a way to create a loops mode where instead of the foot switches controlling presets, it just turns on and off the individual pedals? I realize that kinda defeats the purpose of the gigRig, but it would be great to have that as an option alongside presets and set lists. Definitely ordering one of these!

What do you find is the best use for switch 13? I use 14 as a dedicated out to my tuner for silent tuning. Not sure what to do with button 13 though? THx

Does sticky stomp mode work across different presets? For example I've added delay to my crunch preset and want it to stay on as I switch to my lead preset?

Just got my G3 today! Can you tell me why you turn the Outputs off when you are enabling Stompbox modes? My outputs seems to just stay on for every preset. Also how can I have my tuner out always on w/o muting the sound? I work only in my studio.. so I'd like to just look at it and tune. Thanks~!

Hi! I received my G3 a few weeks ago and I'm building my new board now. How does stomp box mode work with TPS wet/dry pre-sets? If I have the 1st output as my dry amp, and the 2nd output as my wet amp, will stomp box mode allow me to assign a delay, for example, to go only to the 2nd amp? Or is stomp box mode going to always send that selected pedal to both outputs? I'm hoping it is assignable to a specific output! Thanks Doug

Hi Doug. The parallel signal path is set up in the preset, so if you want to StompBox a pedal in either side, simply set that pedal up to be after the split and on the side you want (parallel or normal) but don’t include that loop in the preset. Instead, add it to a StompBox mode preset, and it will kick that loop in wherever you’ve assigned it to 🤓👍

Hi Pete. If the tt was set up as a hidddn preset, every time you’d tap a preset it would would jump between presets, so tt needs to be on its own preset 🤓👍

Every video I watch I consider how I can sell my G2 to help fund a G3. You son of a biscuit......

What if I have setup some stomp switches, and also have the hidden preset feature enabled. I hit the preset button again to reset my stomp switches back to the previous state, but doesn‘t this then also enable the hidden preset at the same time? I don‘t get it, but to me the functions seem to sort of „overlap“ each other...?

Is there some way i can turn of something in stompboxmode that is already in the preset? Just to be clear. Say I have tremolo in stompboxmode, now if I have tremolo in my preset nothing happens when I push my stompbox with tremolo. I would like to be able to turn it of. Is there a way?
