Great PIT. The passenger was very cooperative and didn't give any trouble. He got more respect from the Trooper by doing so. STAY SAFE OUT THERE TROOPERS AND LEOS.

Absolutely respect this organization for their professionalism and responsibility to duty.

D-39's incident report: "On Friday, January 19, 2024, at approximately 11:29 p.m., I was sitting stationary on Interstate 40 in the 196-mile marker turnaround conducting speed enforcement with Lidar. While I was watching eastbound traffic, I observed a white Toyota Corolla pass me at 102 mph in a 75-mph zone. I pulled onto the interstate and attempted to stop the vehicle. I got behind the suspect vehicle and activated my emergency lights. The suspect vehicle did not yield to my lights and continued driving eastbound and I activated my siren. I notified Troop D Communications that I was pursuing the vehicle. The suspect vehicle made unsafe lane changes around other motorists and continued to exceed 100 mph. I performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention on Interstate 40 near the 202-mile marker. The suspect car rotated clockwise around the front of my patrol vehicle and struck the passenger side of my vehicle. Body damage was caused to multiple areas of the passenger side of my vehicle. The suspect vehicle came to rest in a wooded area south of Interstate 40. The suspect fled on foot and the passenger (Jacques Johnson) was arrested without further incident. With the help of local law enforcement agencies, we were able to find the suspect driver (Lacyrus Green) in a residence located off State Highway 33 South. The suspect vehicle smelled strongly of alcohol and marijuana. While searching the suspect vehicle and the surrounding area, I found a rife, multiple THC Schedule VI products, and a half empty bottle of Pink Whitney alcohol. The suspect vehicle was also reported stolen out of Memphis, TN. Both Mr. Green and Mr. Johnson were transported to the Prairie County Jail without further incident. Charges are as follows: Lacyrus Green -A.C.A. 5-74-106; Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms Class Y Felony -A.C.A. 5-73-103; Possession of Firearms by Certain Person Class B Felony -A.C.A. 5-65-436(b)(3); Possession of a Schedule VI w/ Purpose to Deliver Class C Felony -A.C.A. 5-36-106(e)(2); Theft by Receiving Class C Felony -A.C.A. 5-54-125; Fleeing Class D Felony -A.C.A. 5-54-125; Fleeing on Foot -A.C.A. 5-71-218; Open Container of Alcohol in Motor Vehicle -A.C.A. 27-50-302; Speeding More Than 15mph Over Limit -A.C.A. 27-50-308; Reckless Driving Jacques Johnson -A.C.A. 5-74-106; Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms Class Y Felony -A.C.A. 5-65-436(b)(3); Possession of a Schedule VI w/ Purpose to Deliver Class C Felony -A.C.A. 5-71-218; Open Container of Alcohol in Motor Vehicle"

These officers are very professional and so very respectfull. They really care about the people driving on their roadways. My repect goes out to all of them. They all put their lives ay stake. God bless all of them❤❤❤❤

Wanted you to know I smashed the like before I popped in on the live chat. Very disappointed I didn't get to watch the video with everyone. Duty called all day🙏it dosen't call all night.😅 The tow driver ,when stating how the car was & how to get to it, Trooper Lace said I pitted it. Driver said "good job" 😂😂 Glad they nabbed the runner. Trooper Lace is all by himself out there. No other troopers were working close by and they had to call one at home. It's a good thing Hazen police came to help out. (Outstanding people!) Glad Officer Dillian is all healed up. Love this video! 💙

Trooper Brandon Bird (not the same Byrd we are used to seeing do TVIs) was honored for his compassion in assisting a stranded motorist during the recent snow/frigid weather. The guy had run out of gas on the interstate quite some time earlier but was just going to stay in his car overnight during the frigid temps. The guy was obviously down on his luck and had no money for gas. Trooper Bird took him to a hotel and rented a room for the fella for the night, contacted the guy's family and made sure the guy was safe out of the frigid temps for the night.

Guy smoked so much pot and drank so much booze I think the dog could smell him from 3 exits away. Had to be one of the easiest tracks ever. Not to mention snow tracks to follow.

Crazy enough, he's not. It's not against the law to be a passenger in a vehicle evading police. That onus lays entirely on the driver. He's definitely going to be in trouble with the friend though, snitching him out as much as he did.

The Trooper wouldn't even loosen his cuffs! To me, that's not a good Trooper and is just using him! I didn't hear him read him his rights! The young man asked him if he could loosen his cuffs ,but it was no! That's why people don't care for the police ‼️‼️‼️

When you start hanging with the wrong guy, should’ve listened to your Aunt! Your buddy ran because he had nothing to lose being a felon already but you!?! Get it together young man, this scenario plays out way too often! Plans to re-locate to Texas could have been catastrophic for you, he left you already🤣🤣🤣

He is going to have problems with his hands he asked if he could fix his cuffs , and Trooper didn't do it. The young man was more than helpful ! I would probably file a complaint, probably sue! He could've been taken to the jail already! He was back there, too long, his rights were violated!!!

I imagine he will repeat but next time driving through AR in a stolen car he will observe the speed limit.

I've seen other vids where passengers are not charged. Did this passenger guy have something on his person? Didn't they say he had no criminal record? He waited for police to arrive, gave them no trouble, didn't lie, wasn't disrespectful, & was actually helpful. What was the point of that?

You know, sometimes I think they're doing this on purpose, speeding past law enforcement like that. Especially when it's obvious where they're sitting in the first place, cause of reflective liveries etc.
