🤣I think we were in the same platoon.

I worked as a catapult tech on a Navy flight deck for 5 years. I have never in my life heard of someone being offered a spot in BUDS if they want to "just get off the flight deck." Especially aviation ordinancemen, who don't even work on the flight deck for half as long as other aviation rates. 80% of their work load is below decks in the bomb shops and ordinance armory.

That's not true at all. You get to choose all kinds of things at the DFAC. But not jokingly, you are given many choices in the military. In fact, unless you were drafted way back in the day, just joining the military is a choice. Then you get to pick your MOS (at least I had that option when I enlisted back in '06, and my MOS pick was contractually guaranteed). Anyway, you get choices in the military.

I have an uncle who said he went to Vietnam. He was in the air force during the Vietnam era, but wasn’t anywhere near Vietnam. Makes my Dad sick. Lol 😆

It still cracks me up every time I watch this and I hear him respond with, “I’ll be god-damned”, after Don says, “Would you be surprised if I found no record of you in the SEAL database?”

This guy's level of dishonesty is PATHOLOGICAL. He has lied so much and so hard that he convinced himself his lies are truths! It's sickening and criminal! Kudos to Don for retaining his composure!

Growing up there was a man who lived in my town who claimed he was in the USMC during WWII, was in the first wave on Iwo Jima, and he watched the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi. When he died his obituary stated that he was a cook in the Navy during WWII. If anyone mentioned to his family that he had been telling bullshit stories about his military service...telling stories for decades...the family members would go ape-shit.

Excellent post. No need to embellish your service. I served in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer from 1986-1992. It was during the Cold War and Desert Storm but I never engaged in combat. Every army and navy needs everyone or the machine doesn’t work. I don’t care if you were a cook or an admiral, fighter pilot or special ops. Every one is necessary. If you served honorably that’s enough. Service to our nation is a privilege not to draw attention to ourselves. Shame on these clowns for pretending to be someone they aren’t.

Don and Diane I’m not a seal and have never been interesting in joining the forces but for some reason your videos just hooked me, you two are funny and entertaining and I have huge respect for you guys and others who have fought. These videos have given me a slight view into your world and I very much appreciate watching. Thanks for your service and the great videos you put out

I was a navy seal. I ran a covert rescue of the president from the Russians. I also defended the secretary of defence from a North Korean crack team but the people will never hear about it because it was classified. And then i prestiged on call of duty.

I think it was a dump of adrenaline. I get like that when I am geared up for some intense stuff but then have to just be real calm. All that adrenaline dumps into you and if you don't release you get like that. Totally involuntary.

I was always told as a youngster that if I ever got into any trouble, to act before the Adrenaline loses its peak and causes a huge lull and you feel all heavy. He was having to control the Adrenaline and his emotions at the same time, probably having 20 conversations with himself justifying punching the guy and then the thought of Diane on his case if he did.

I was a SEAL, and not once did I let oil escape, or water get into the oil...in my down time, I'd just hang out on an ice floe and eat fish. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is.

My husband did 3 tours in Vietnam and he keeps his campaign medals and other military stuff in a beautiful box ...he would never display them like that. Heroes don't brag.

I was in the Army for 10 years, I was stationed all over the United States . It was rough, but the Salvation Army took care of us. Being stationed at Publix, smiths, Safeway’s, sometimes in malls, I was the best bell ringer in my platoon. Unfortunately I didn’t see any direct combat , I did however stop my share of shoplifters and was awarded a certificate for an honorable community member the army gave me a gold plated bell upon retirement. I hang it proudly to this day. Glad to see there are folks stopping these phonies , you have to earn your stripes. God bless America.
