Stolen catalytic converter Nissan NV? Open for an explanation.
The Nissan NV is the latest victim of catalytic converter theft, it is quickly growing to be one of the leaders in the crime as we are seeing them on a daily basis with stolen parts. This video explains what it is they’re doing to take them and our preventative measures to keep them from continuing to do it again. Slick work making those custom anti-theft bolts. It’s be nice to see some factory anti-theft setups on these, or at least an option like anti-theft lug nuts like it appears you guys are using in your customizations. 🤙🏼

The bolts are not designed to be a stand alone defense. If you use it combined with our other offerings it’s an additional layer to slow them down. You probably have a deadbolt on your front door of your home, do you have bars on your windows?

I sorry, we have no alliance or knowledge of any good shop’s in your area. Believe it or not a lot of people make the trip to us from So Cal.

That would be your downstream 02 sensor
Most stolen is Tundra! Tacoma! Prius! Camry in California
They need to make the lock a bit bigger there will still be a way for them to get the bults off

It’s a theft deterrent, if a thief wants something bad enough they figure something out. We’re just trying to make it difficult enough for them to move on.

Mine was over $6,000 at dealership but I paid my insurance deductible of $750
I got mine stolen recently
Twice two weeks apart. cost me 6k each time. I have no other option than to sell me beloved van, I literally didn't have time to even weld something temp. YOu have no idea how devastating it is emotionally to owe 12k in two weeks. I'm sure you understand tho.

I would advise anyone that has experience a theft one time to add comprehensive coverage to your insurance immediately. If you would had it you would have only had to pay your deductible.

Get a universal cat those have very little value to the thieves and they rather not steal them
