    I completely agree. AEW Revolution 2024 is quite possibly one of the best AEW PPV ever, definitely top 5 with ALL IN 2023, AEW Revolution 2021, Forbidden Doors 2023, and AEW WrestleDream 2023. OH! Apparently, Miro is injured which is why we haven't seen him since mid last year. Thank goodness, as in, I'm glad he wasn't away due to issues with the company and I hope for him for a very speedy recovery for we need the guy back! Honestly, I really want him and CJ to come back together, and CJ to manage him with the "Rocky 4 Ravashin Russian" gimmick for that's what suits her the best!

    Sting’s AEW run was absolutely incredible. Despite being in his 60’s, he still managed to do some insane spots in just about every match he did, and they booked these matches in a way where he looked great every time. Also, God, that Darby dive through the glass spot was scary as hell. I have no idea how he’s still walking. I am gonna miss Sting, I’m gonna miss him teaming with Darby, I’m gonna miss Tony Schiavone yelling “It’s STIIIIIIIIING!”… but they gave Mr. Borden the send off he deserved.

    One small pet peeve I had was that when Hangman was not facing Swerve when in Joe's Coquina Clutch. Would've been better if he saw Swerve coming to break the hold and decided to tap to make sure Swerve could no longer win the watch

  • @TheWannabeexpert

    @TheWannabeexpert

    That would have made the finish a perfect one. Know i mostly think Joe won it fair but Hangman instead of going out cold , as he probably would had it been man on man chose to tap in case Swerve got there late and Hangman would have no chance stopping him. But you are right had he seen Swerve coming an taped it would have been glorious.

I’m not saying the rock wouldn’t increase views at the same time I wouldn’t say he would and in my head a guy coming in for what will either be a few weeks run or will see everyone turn off is worth sacrificing what you’ve wanted to do for years.

    I really wish reviewers wold stop glorifying dangerous spots like the Darby through Glass one. Someone is going to get seriously injured or even die because of it, it should criticized, not praised. If you REALLY care about these people, you wouldn't condone them doing stunts like that. Darby wants to be like Jeff Hardy, but look at the condition of Jeff Hardy! He can barely walk! He had a great career, but he is a shining example of why you SHOULDN'T be doing those spots, especially as often as Darby has done them. And if Sting was going to win by tapout, I wouldn't have had the previous match end in a tapout.

    👏to the fans with the signs lol. So, a few random thoughts. During Jay white's promo after the match he sounded so sarcastic, i was disappointing that he didn't turn on acclaimed. Danielson didn't only shake Eddie's hand, we can see him also doing a little bow as he exited the ring, it was really a cool moment. The scramble match could have been on Dynamite, especially considering that including the pre-show the event was- checks Steiner maths- 5½ hours. BCC vs FTR was a good match, but i'm glad this feud is over (hopefully). I popped so hard when I saw Kyle. Same for the Pac vignette. Ospreay and Takeshita had the match of the show by far imo. The triple threat and the Sting retirement match were amazing. I wouldn't say it was the best ppv they ever did tho. I'd say half of it was great, and half was at best average. Also, way too long.

    The Ospreay vs Takeshita match was 7 out of 5 for me. Amazing ability of both guys, great story telling throughout the match - fantastic selling, although that scrape/bruise looked painful. The Sting match, what can I say? One word. Awesome! I feel we lost the crowd momentum in the Tony Storm match. The "Meat" match was okay-ish. I just wish they would cash in at some point on Hook's momentum, although it is nice to see Wardlow get some of his back! Yep, amazing event from AEW - I'd even say it was almost on par, if not better than the Elimination Chamber PLE of WWE (I'm not the territorial type). Also, worth bearing in mind, Swerve came from NXT. He shines a like a diamond in AEW. Your opinions may vary, but the above is my own.

    Darby's glass spot was incredible. Sting's glass spot was unnecessary, especially when you see the fan view where the glass got sprayed into the crowd at face level! I'm really surprised that there aren't reports of people being hurt.

    I watched the pay-per-view and enjoyed it from start to finish. Me and my older brother agreed that there were a lot of 5 star matches on it and this was by far the best pay-per-view of the year. Job well done Tony Khan on delivering a banger pay-per-view as well as giving Sting the perfect sendoff. Thank you Sting for all the great memories. You been wrestling since I was a toddler and I am now in my mid 30's. My favorite version of you was by far the crow Sting gimmick. I do hope you stick around in some capacity. I give Revolution the vote of 5 out of 5 as well.

    This video echoes my thoughts exactly; with the exception of the kick out at 1. I haven't watched a PPV since they began having them more often. I'm so glad I decided to catch this one. I grew up watching Surfer Sting and I really wanted to see him go out on his own terms. It was great to see Magnum, Nikita and Scotty Riggs (and his new teeth) in the crowd. By the way, Riggs looks HAWT! I thought it was funny that WWE came out and made a liar out of Kevin Nash about why he couldn't attend the event. Friggin' fabulous show!

    I think it's less that he wanted to do it honorably, and more that Hangman saying Swerve couldn't beat him without someone helping him got in his head, so he didn't want to win with Nana's help.

    Why bring back the rankings to determine your world title contender and then the very next month have a random 8 man #1 contenders match featuring Magnus who doesnt even work for AEW so i imagine hes pretty low on the rankings. A phenominal show top to bottom, but id much rather have had Toni and Deonna get more time and stings full speech at the end by cutting this. Or, a second womens match, heaven forbid
