I have always found it amusing that these "handicapped people" say they can't walk more than 50 yards, and then they go into the mall and walk all afternoon 😆

People like you are what’s wrong with society. Too busy judging on not knowing the facts. Just because they don’t show their disabilities don’t mean they don’t have one. Go after those using a family member or fake one instead. Have a good day.

What burns me is idiots like yourself who think that just because you can't see someone's disability that they are not as entitled as you I SAY THEY SHOULD have the handicap parking in the WAAAY BACK SINCE YOU FERRL SO ENTITTLED at least then you will have all the room you need also they should fine idiots who park in the space set aside for the handicapped person to exit their car. THAT IS JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE THEN SOMEONE USING A SPACE BLOCKING IN SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY NEED THAT SPACE TO GET IN AND OUT OF THEIR CAR BUT BECAUSE THERE ARE NOORE HANDICAPPED SPACES THEY THINK THAT THEY CAN MAKE THEIR OWN SPACE AND BLOCK SOMEONE ELSE IN I THINK ONCE YOU DO THAT WITH A PLACARD IT SHOULD BE PERMANATLY REVOKED FOR YOU AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY.

Let’s face it you have to walk all of the way across the mall and out to your car , your arm is going to get tired. They can’t switch hands because they only have one. So yes I can see the need to park closer. If they lost their arm or hand defending our country they should be right in the front space.

It bothers me when a non disabled person uses a handicap parking space. But what gets me even more are these people who use their relatives placard to use a spot that they don't deserve or need. They should be especially aware of the need people have for those spots. It's heartless. It's heartless to the people who's place you have taken, and it is heartless to your own relatives and loved ones.

All to often I watch people park in disabled parking, get out of their car and almost run into the store to do some shopping on the way home from work. I try to make no assumptions however seeing many of them appear to be in their 30's to 40's with no visible sign of being handicapped I feel many use a placard belonging to a relative or friend. Both my wife and I are handicapped and find any walking difficult or almost impossible on some days. Unfortunately where we live I have never seen any enforcement efforts concerning handicapped parking misuse/abuse.

W Arnold I'm 30 years old with a non visible back injury that made me disabled and have been since 22 ( I've since about 11th grade or so always looked younger than I am. When I was 22 I was mistaken for 14-16. Now at 30 I'm told I look about 19.) Age has nothing to do with disability. Appearing to look fine has nothing to do with disability. Some people have better days than others, but still disabled. Some people can sometimes make it into the store but then need something to assist them. I use a shopping cart like a walker once in the store. I can't shop without holding on to a grocery cart. Some people have disabilities where there fine one minute and not the next and they never know when the not fine moment is going to come.

Should be $2,000 fine, mandatory 30 day impound, prison time. Also placard should be car and person lock so one can't use on different car(s). That way police can run plates see the person face whom its registered too & if car is to different face or belongs to someone else, automatically ticket & impound. That way one can't take the placard to use on a different car and or person, period!

  • @Tat2Dragons

Sabi Marcum No the Officer doesn’t ask them for their disability information, nor would it be against any HIPAA laws if the Officer were to ask for it. Well obviously not having a placard, or handicapped license plates would be the only way someone would know for certain that the vehicle was parked illegally in a handicapped parking space.
