    Did you see how he appeared to be gulping air like a fish before he dived? What all the free deep see divers do is cram or "pack" their lungs with extra air, but it is only air. They train to do this, but the "gulping" is what gets him to the bottom and then, on the way up, he lets air out bit by bit. The people who do this have incredible lung capacity. They're awesome!

    You should use valsalba manuever every meter or so. You close ur nostrils with one hand and blow air into nose, until pain goes away. If you lack experience that much, don't go deeper with it please. You might die if you don't know what might happen to your body. Also, not clearing and going to 6 m is a clear way to becoming deaf (literal ear explosion). Check to your doctor if you haven't already injured yourself.

    +lEIG Thanks for reply. I know how to compensate pressure, but i need to train doing it faster. These freedivers are sinking fast as a rock and thats amazing. I need to go down slowly, then i have enoug time compensating pressure. Two or three weeks i trained a little and currently i am going to cca. 8 meters without problems. At the beginning i had problems with compensating, because holding my nose and squeezing the pressure out of my lungs taking lots of energy, then i dont have enoug air and need to come up again. And i needed to conpensate every meter as you wrote, thats too much energy load, and battling with this taking the fun out of the experience. But after little practice i can go down cca 8-9 meters and compensating only once, or twice without any troubles in my ears. I combine the nose-method with engorgement (guzzling? Sorry, translator only) :) and this helps me a lot. I dont need to waste all my energy for battling with the pressure and i have relax with going down.

  • @pressdesign

    @pressdesign

    7 жыл бұрын

    I dont know why i have problems with compensating at the beginning (valsalva), but i needed to push hard when my ears come free. After practice i can easily compensating with little energy and my ears are totally fine. This allows me to stay down longer, because compensating dont eat up all my energy in the "backpack". :)

    It’s because he has his original breath of air. The expanded gas at sea level is compressed at depth; it it then expanded to its original volume at surface. The danger is when you breathe compressed gas at depth, then return to surface quickly. No need for dive tables or decompression in this case.
