OMG I GET WHY STEVONNIE WAS CRYING! So basically since Connie is human she eventually got older than Steven. It got to a point where Stevens mental state was keeping him younger end in an act of desperation to keep Connie with him for as long as possible, they fused into stevonnie. They started crying and unfused. And everyone else was sad because they knew this probably meant that Connie was going to die.😢

The thing that always killed me about Steven Universe was Greg. He was always just kind of.. Well.. Either he was there, or he wasn't. When he was there, it wasn't anything special. He sat in the background until being given cues by everyone else to take part, or he tried to become a part of things using comical relief. He lost his wife who lied to him the entire time they loved each other about who she was, nearly saw his son die multiple times, has always just had to accept his situation and hope they'll all make it out alive.. And he never knows what's truly going on until someone decides to actually fill him in. You can say with the.. Human Zoo, he was strong and cool in that. And he was. But he was just dragged along by a giant blue woman and tossed into the situation without consent or a real understanding of what was happening. You could say Connie is similar. Or that Steven has it worse. And yes, he has it horribly bad. But he has support. And love. He has MAGICAL POWERS, too. Greg just kind of has.. Whatever he's given. He's just trying to be a good father to a son stuck with all of the consequences of his mother's horrid actions of the past. But he can't help much. He's just human, in the end. And not one of the stronger ones.

If fusions really do have their own personalites and are people, Malachite would be one of the more tragic caracters. For her entiere existence, she's been nothing but a battlefield for her ,,parents", who both hated her. They didn't let her control her own body, they didn't see her as a person. Imagine such a live. Malachite might had some momens of control over her own body and mind, but those were probably short and still more or less under the control of Lapis or Jasper. People keep arguing who has been the bigest victim: Jasper or Lapis. The answer is Malachite - constantly used and hated by all, only for what her parents have done. Forgive the ortograf. When you think about Jasper of the gem that tried to kill Steven and his friends you think that she deserves to be trapped by Lapis, but Jasper was only trying to revenge her diamond death, the only gem that she has loved... She tried to kill the gem that destroyed her "mother" (she created and loved Jasper) and a lot of gems thought that kill her mother was right, later she was trapped and tortured by Lapis... Dude, we say always "poor Lapis" but Jasper has another form to tell that horrible story

Avery Lawson especially with Brendon singing "the fear of falling apart" repeatedly... That's so fitting with Stevonnie unfusing so Connie could die, and Steven crying because he doesn't wanna let her go even though he knows it's her time to pass.. this is truly heartbreaking

Now I know how Julius Ceaser felt being stabbed so many times in the heart. Oh my god I just ...I'm crying so bad right now. This murdered me and made me feel so much. This encapsulates the whole backstory of all the gems and the whole FEELING of the show. Holy shit. The Jasper/Lapis scenes got to me and then followed it up with Steven and Connie. I was like "ET TU BRUTE?!"

The emotional weight of this show damn, can we all accept su is at least partially made for more mature audiences ? Like a don’t think the child who is happily watching we bare bears is invested enough to understand lapis’s meltdown, or amethysts self hatred, roses entire being. I god damn adore this mature beautiful story.

It made me cry...IT'S BEAUTIFUL...

This thing almost made me cry. I don’t cry at videos almost ever. This just brought back so much of the emotions I felt while watching the show and enhanced them. It’s all so beautiful and sad at the same time! I don’t even really have the right words to describe how this made me feel. I also love this version of the song much better, but I can’t find it on Spotify 🥲

Now Steven universe is over and I listened this once again... Makes lot more sense I can't stop crying

Lapis crying or getting stressed about malachite and thinking about how pearl must feel about rose now she's gone and that she didn't trust her as much as she thought she did. The part where Pearl is standing over the cradle and the song says “truth be told I never was yours” is my favorite part because I’m imagining Pearl realizing that she and Rose were never actually together and that she doesn’t have the right to undo Rose’s choice by removing her gem from Steven and now I’m crying

Duuuuuude. My god. This was super emotional all the way through, but the way you animated Stevonnie's tears, and then when they unfused and I realized this was an adult Steven and an old Connie- perhaps old enough that she won't be alive for much longer- that broke me. Videos like this don't normally bring me to tears, but I genuinely cried a little at this. Thank you for such a stunning animation.

You have no idea how hard this made me cry. This is so beautiful and heart breaking. It takes great talent to make something like that. Thank you for sharing yours with us.

1:52 that expression gets to me so much. Their relationship/fusion was so abusive on both sides, but honestly I feel Jasper suffered more at the hands of Lapis than Lapis did at hers.

I cried and screamed the most when the first "if you love me let me goooooo" hit, because I feel so bad for Pearl... she loved Rose so much, and she just left her behind for Greg. She decided to go with a human she barely knows... I think she was just fascinated by human kind. And she just left Pearl, not caring about her... I want to die now ok.
